I am going to ignore your attempt at a veiled ad hominem attack and my position on this issue inflation as based on a couple things.

Inflation benefits the owners at the top. In a competitive DI right now you probably need $15-20 million. The rich are only going to get richer. This promotes tanking as the only viable method of not only getting up to DI but competing and winning a title. As inflation increases the gap between a new user and veterans is only going to increase.

Inflation also negatively impacts the mid division and low level user. There are players under 100 TSP that are currently going for 2-3 million on the TL.

I am all for any measure that takes money out of the BB Economy. Increasing the length of FA auction would help do this. I would even say lets move FA auctions to 7 days. I would be for decreasing over time the DI TV contract and severely punishing attendance revenue on tanking teams.

If you play the market smart, your buying power will always go up. Buying at 25 and selling at 30 is not smart. If I buy a player low during the offseason and sell the player high before the playoffs next season, at the bare minimum I would be able to buy a similar player low in the next offseason to continue the cycle. More likely I turn a good profit since I bought low and sold high, which increases my buying power. Also, this does not consider the other sources of income I have generated over the course of the season.
