and lo and behold it did, going up to a record 10,341, good to see the BB cops were able to uncover that damn embezzling ticket staff. Now lets see if the Generals can make it two in a row Tuesday night against the hobbled Gamblors.

Mine went back up too. I had a decent but not great initial gate, followed by a similar reduction and then when I saw your post I checked mine again and it was back up to a good level. Now that the warning isn't on the news page any more, I think there's at least a decent chance that this is the actual final results (although if we could round up a few more dolla... er, I mean fans... I wouldn't complain).

We sold all but 4 luxury boxes. Either ticket prices are too low or the fans just wanted to see our "one and done"

The standings haven't updated as I type this, but Club Red right now reminds me of the team name I signed up with way back in season 2 (though I didn't actually stick around more than a week) - the Indy .500s.

Terrible mistake at the end of my game last night... tied at 81 and I get fouled on the buzzerbeater shot. Hits free throw, game over.

I had a similar terrible mistake in the fourth quarter: my team couldn't stop Oprah with a box of donuts. We should have tried cake.

I have been on both sides of the free throws after times expires equation, got to take them when you can get them in this neighborhood.

Club fed already has their rallying cry for the season, everyone is going to go .500, with equal PD, and equal points scored, should be fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_nrAyo0tLI

Of course being the quintessential .500 opponent I know where everyone in the red is coming from, though lo and behold the Generals are 2-0 in D3 for the first time in their sordid squalid history! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2Tt5VmqSBI&t=2345s

And now it's time for the over the hill gang to welcome their old nemesis DERONIMO in for a trip to the Coliseum as memories of the controversy of the last time these two bitter rivals met ok one bitter rival. is this the night the Generals can finally break the streak? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHfB63ln1Ig

We started out 0-2 last season and ended up 20-2. I don't put a great deal of stock in early season matches.

But you know the old saying: "If at first you don't succeed, you can't go 22-0."

Of course, I prefer "If at first you succeed, steal second."

Or in your case, if you can't go 22-0, have your alma mater go to the final four, helluva finish last night. Now go take care of Other Carolina because the Gamecocks fan/alumni base is a delusional and incendiary bunch who need to be put back in their place. However those guys are on a roll like a Hero sandwich, should be quite the contest. NYC though is a mighty long way for a couple of SEC schools to settle issues.

Now my Tar Heels looked outstanding against Butler, good to finally solve that little riddle as the previous couple of times they had met in recent years that team from your current place of residence made the Heels look silly. But last night Luke Maye was using the force strong, just unreal especially in the first half. Berry got back on track and overall it was an impressive showing. Tomorrow though is a rematch against those bastards from UK, if it is anything when they met in Vegas in December it will be a memorable evening.

Yeah, it was an amazing game. I'm still exhausted because it took me until about 2 before I could even attempt to go to bed, and I know I wasn't asleep until after 3. The munchkin came in to our bedroom before 8 and so I was pretty much on munchkin patrol from then out since my wife had to go in to work not long after that.

I'm actually not currently in Indy - I lived there for my last three years of high school a long time ago, but I'm in the Jacksonville, FL area again for almost 20 years now. Wow. But I do concur about South Carolina fans - one afternoon during Florida Georgia week when I was running the display board at the stadium here, a few of us got together and went to the Landing after a walkthrough of the script (which basically was just the ads on the board). We went to the Landing and ran across a highly intoxicated fan of that school who I can still hear saying to one of my friends such lines as "You been hired yet? Whoo hired you?" and "I'm from South Carolina, and you're not... so you suck, and I don't."

I did live in Columbia for close to a year. I don't mind them nearly so much as Georgia, who is just wrong - I presume you'd feel the same way about Duke.

Thought we were going to pull an epic comeback but ran out of gas.

After going injury free since I came back into the game, 3 injuries in 2 games. Hey refs! Wanna call a foul sometime?
