Well you can consider me underwhelmed by this one. I think this is a great update to make Supporter more accessible across the BB world. The issue I have is that someone could have mitigated the hype by simply telling us it wouldn’t be a Major Update from a gameplay standpoint.

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).

I didn't say this is not a good change, I said this change should not come alone. They ask us for money, but I think that if I don't buy supporter is because it doesn't deserve, but if I see that they are really working to improve the game, maybe I will pay and they will have more money to continue improving the game. It is just an opinion and I also share your point of view.

Confirming that this looks like a straight up GDP ordering of countries.

My feeling is a better way to rank supporter tiers would be be by median household or individual income by country, thereby reducing the bias of some countries (UAE, Singapore, etc.) having a more unequal distribution of income than others.

I am not seeing as neat of a reference for median income though, as the GDP data sources such as the World Bank don't seem to have this. The best I could find on a quick search was a ranking by the Gallop poll. I would like to suggest that the supporter tiers be ranked by this data rather than GDP, being a better representation of the purchasing power of an "average" Buzzerbeater user:

Median is not average, and thereby not a good representation of an overall data set. The median for 10, 20, & 100 is 55, whereas the mean(average) is 43.33. The median of 10, 20, 25, 30, and 100 is still 55, while the mean is now 37.

Edited to add: Maths? Who remembers maths?

How are you getting 55 as the median in your set of numbers? As far as I know median is the middle of the data, and would mean the medians for your sets are 20 and 25, which are vastly closer to the majority of the rest of the numbers. I think medians would be helpful as opposed to mean because extremes can pull the overall data while medians are the precise middle.

I think this improvement though is a step in the right direction though. Definitely not what I was expecting, but a helpful plus to paying players.

Nice idea, wrong approach.

The same product should cost the same money on any place on the globe.

Mercedes isn't offering the S Type for 1/4 of the regular price in Brasil.

I understand your motivation behind the change, to get more people to buy Supporter, but this is the wrong approach. Again, an identical product should have the same price everywhere.

You should have lowered the price for Supporter in general. Or offer a Basic Supporter Package (with most, but not all features) for let's say 15 $ and a Premium Supporter Package for 40 $ (with all Supporter features plus one or two extra gimmicks).

No, that's why I put "average" in quotation marks. If you want average you will be happy with the original order, as that is a true averaging mean. Median income is what a theoretical person makes in a country where 50% earn more and 50% earn less this person, to put it in in an understandable way for those who want refreshing on median/mean/mode.

My feeling is this "median person' represents better the income for most people in a country. If you have a country where you have a few rich people holding more wealth than in other countries, that will skew the middle income you are trying to represent by using an averaging of income.

If there was a way to incorporate a country's income inequalities via the Gini Coefficient with GDP (I'm not a statistician, yo) that would probably work better. Couldn't find that on a quick look though.

Not saying median is perfect. But I think it's better than mean.
