Well, bad luck that they tried to beat a team that recently one a medal at the asian tournament. ;) Still a nice win. And hopefully not the last one this season. Great story with your perennial allstar ... It's really going to be interesting how long the "old guys" will still be able to perform well and how fast the young guys will be closing the gap. You might be more competitive in the next few seasons than you are telling us ;)

And yes: awesome World Cup ... I had to work on sunday so I couldn't watch the game ... but maybe that's better for my health ;) I really thought that they might finally lose a close game - such a great streak and always kind of winning despite the odds. Hopefully that team will continue to play together in the next couple of years. Would be awesome if they got a shot at an olympic medal. But I guess France and some other teams (USA and Canada included) will probably come back more strongly ...

But: a deserved World Cup win, awesome. Especially since our football guys don't really play that well at the moment ;)

Right, I know why I've got a rehearsal in the evening. ;) But we've got Rudi Völler coaching. Even if there was a lot of luck involved (an Oliver Kahn), he did get us into the WC-Final in 2002 ;)

Not our current NT level anyway. More the one we had 12-15 seasons ago. He would play every week 15 seasons ago. It's a showing of how we improved though.

Right, hopefully we don't have to go back to those levels. Otherwise I'd also have a Park who was at GS 9 and does know how to defend. Doesn't really know how to rebound, otherwise he'd probably already be a constant backup on the NT. Unfortunately, training guards doesn't help with that .. but it was still worth a try and he's a nice player ;)

Me too. But I guess it shouldn't be too slow. Especially since you know more about training and tactics than anyone in BB. Except maybe BB-Justin and BB-Marin who know how the engine is coded ;)

not much to write home about. the margin of point difference is pretty much in line with the other losing teams this week... hoping to still be in it. It'll come down to the last 2 week. keep the training up and let's get it!

And: Ji-Dong Shin just surpassed the legendary SB Kim for third place on the all-time scoring list (with 1.12 Minutes to go in the first half!!). Of course with two back-to-back three pointers ;)

DY Kang needs to hit some more shots in order to get into 9th place on the all-time scoring list. Might not make it today, but it's definitely not impossible. And he'll surpass the other Perpete-Legend YH Lim soon enough as well ...

Congrats. It was a victory in the end. That is great.
