Cheers, mate! Great sportsmanship from your side!

I'm really interested, how you do that, with your hoemgrown roster?

I'd say a big reason is that I have been super lucky: drafting an 18 year old, potential 11 player in the second round; Lyle, MacNeilly, and MacPhee having great starting skills for rookies... And this season, the top teams of Nations of Europe were eliminated by other teams. And even in the final, your best bench player got injured after playing 4 minutes... A lot of luck involved.
Of course, planning and strategies are a part of it too, but I have seen other homegrown teams having bad luck in drafts and it just kills the whole project.

Edit: Not buying any players also means that I have the same key players for a long time. Some managers change their roster every season, and, in my opinion, that's not a good idea.

I imagine it's a gradual project. At the start of the project you will only have a couple of original players. Then little by little you integrate the other players, correct? Without ever buying players from the same nation.
The project inspires me a lot. To liven up my seasons a little. I could sell everyone, increase arena and structures and then start this 2-3 (real life) year project.

It was different for me, as I started the project with a new team. I had two teams before this one, but both went bot because I lost interest. That won't happen again, it's much more fun now.

If you want to start the project, feel free to contact me via BB-mail to exchange ideas. I am already talking to two other managers of homegrown teams once or twice every season.

Please don't encourage people to be less competitive, thanks

Don't reveal my intentions! hahahaha

By the way, you should sell all your players and go homegrown too

No, but what about 30k for Petrauskis and Kanellos?

Nikos Kanellos is probably worse than all 8 of these players, but the few that are most similar have been selling for around $ 80 000 to $ 160 000.

Of these, the ones with skills most similar to Eimuntas Petrauskis have been selling for around $ 30 000 to $ 200 000.

XD
I have experienced the same thing. Apparently, MacNeilly is worth more than Fitchy. And he also has the same value as Lyle.
