I think it is petty reasonable to expect that if someone is interested in a player they should try be there when the auction expires, or at the very least have entered a bid already. You claim it is unfair to expect this, but I believe it is unfair to the people who bid before the deadline to allow people to decide to join 30 minutes after it could have ended.
The extension definitely should be there, however I believe that if a person has not even bid once before the original auction time expires they should not be allowed to join the bidding afterwards. I have been in situations where I have been still bidding on a player 30 minutes after the initial time expired when suddenly 2 ir 3 new bidders enter the auction. You should not be able to show up llate and still get into the bidding.
the problem is every time you bid you can't use the money for another player
Or maybe I haven't been online in four days, log on and see the exact player I want with two minutes left to bid on him. Should I be punished and not be allowed to bid?
Why?maybe I just follow the bidwar and wait the right moment to come in. I don't need to make an early bid knowing that particular player will be sold for much more money
