I dont want to see an autobid system implemented because I believe finding great deals in the transfer market is a skill. With an autobid system we punish those managers who are being active enough and clear-minded enough...
Depends what kind of "autobid" system.

One could take the stance that by not having something, the users who don't want to sit on this game 24/7 (including waking up in the middle of the night to bid) are being punished.

If I was a BB I'd rather punish the ones that tank and have the money available to acquire top-tier talent than punish the ones that are on my site 24/7 clicking and seeing the advertisements...

EDIT: That's just my opinion though

True, but if I were a BB I would rather make the game work and forget "punishment."
That's just my opinion.

Its perception. Its what people perceive the market prices to be and the relative difficulty/effort required to acquire a quality roster, be it through training or watching the list daily for appropriate deals.
I agree there is a large part of perception, however people openly voicing their concerns is bad for business and it would be best that the developers and admins to show they care for their userbase rather than trivialising or demeaning those who complain. Because ultimately we can all say whatever we want, but people being unhappy about the current situation is a problem in itself. I've seen managers saying they like the game as it is and they could not care less if a small or huge chuck of the userbase quits tomorrow. Bottom line I just completely disagree with this point of view, the game is better the more people play it.

NO offense to you, but I raised hell on that in other forums every single point you made and no it was not the developer fault outright , managers voted on it with a lot of peers voting for it,. It was discussed behind closed doors by the shady ones of BB.

The trainers of the game wanted this to stop the top teams and all teams from buying their way into b3 and buying championships. Nothing is stable on BB unless we taking about firing new draft players on whim. They forgot training take a very long time to profit or to build.

Since you say, your very good in economics Id like to see your thesis on the economic climate in BB. Please tell us how can they bring about buying. and prices to level. As you know differ division have differ buying powers to afford. which does effect the market in a buying power way. When you level 4 team with u19/ and nt players selling them for 2 million.. do you think it create a imbalance.?

I have suggested the manager to do nothing but save money for a while, that does not mean sit back and stimulate the economy it mean be careful and buy low.. Your stance before was versus that , "Saving money" its good you see some promise in what I was trying to bring forth for the economy.

I love the post. One thing about economist is they dont run a business they get paid for talking. Some call them educated guesses.

I know a lot on economics even down to political economics. In Greece "the polis". I don't agree with reward those who train. Because why put money in the hand of seller/buyers to dictate the terms it lead to greed . That is part of the issue in order to create they need time and money. Training is not free

Economic growth is brought by showing you can create and perform a better system within a system in place. For example creating Princeton team and winning B3 .. I think they should rewarded people who win and build diverse player not just those who train. Diverse creation stimulate and pulls any market in another direction.. its basic rule of competition in economic. Apple iphone vs Samsung galaxy for example. Your not suppose to allow one side to dominate the other like At&t in the 60-80S in usa. A monopoly if you will, that what the market is right now with LI.lp players on BB

Managers like that( diverse tactical users and creators) bring forth financial growth in the market and playing ways. New Tactical growth stimulate the economy. Not just training players to sell, but for growth over all, yes you'll need to buy to stimulate that growth.
