1.99/month for features that you use in a regular basis is not cheap?
Atleast in BB you are contributing, to a game you love, a small tight loyal comunity, and a game that really needs this contribution.
The new owners have probably spent more than 30.000€ ATLEAST to acquire the game from the previous ownership.
They are saying we will have a team dedicated developers for this game, they want to bring new features, this development process, time, money, resources, takes a good couple of thousands as well. As things are right now they are not even guaranteed a return on their investment, not anytime soon at least.
And what do we have here? People complaining because their subscription in probably one of their favourite games, got up to a more reasonable value, which (in my opinion) is still cheap.
How many of you subscribe to spotify (5.99€/month), and other subscriptions that are costly?
How many of you bought the yearly FIFA's for 70€ every year? Or football manager for 50€ every year?
Not to say that BB provides as much value as these games, but still, if you are a player of this tiny game, and you want to see it grow and develop as it should, why are you complaining that it got a bit more expensive? You are contributing to it's growth, and let's not forget, even with inflation, and time, the prices did not rise as they should of supporter, so yes, indeed you have been using a service that was undervalued.
Support the team that is investing thousands and thousand in this "dying game", developers which are very costly per hour to pay, and resources.
I am genuinely, and honestly, incredibly tired of reading how much suspicion and setbacks the new ownership is facing, for simple things like highlighting in bold the "Supporter" words.
Do not forget that they paid atleast 30.000€ and I am being generous on this value because it's probably higher, plus the thousands more they are going to invest into this game, consider this information before replying in this thread, and accusing the new ownership.
Support the game, support the new owners who invested heavily, give them time, allow them to also fail and learn from their mistakes.
The new management atleast comes and explains their thought proccess, even if it's something as simple as highlighting the "Supporter" word in bold, respect this, we did not have the same engagement and availability from the previous management.
It's not by being highly pessimistic about every single thing that you will motivate the new staff to engage with the community.
