No he has to play PG to get proper training. I think that your U21 NT coach is the proper person to advice you, but if you ask me dont waste 2 much time on OD. Train the 3-4 big men skills, and some JS. You will create an excellent PF

Or single position train the guard skills and you will have Jason Kidd.
Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

He's looking great.
As JR trains JS more than JS trains JR, my suggestion is to rotate between passing, one on one (forwards) and JR for a season.
One on One forwards will train IS, JS, DR and HA.
Outside Shooting will help with JS as well as, obviously, Jump Range.
Passing will also raise a few skills as well.
I think if his inside shot is around 9-10, it'll be enough for a SG to be effective inside..
Regarding ID, I feel that you may want to raise it a few if you find the time to train it, it helps in a Man to Man defence when the opponent drives to the hoop, but otherwise if you play zone defence most of the time, it shouldn't be a worry.

Great player but if you're gonna train him in IS/ID you could try also rebounding.

While Shaq's player is young I would train 1v1 at the PG/SG spot instead of SG/SF forgoing the IS increase in exchange for more JS. I feel that for a SG the IS does not matter as much the driving can override a low IS and higher JS will be more suitable. I would also reccomend unless he is going to do JR single position to train JR once for every 2-3 JS at the PG/SG slots (Again forgoing the IS for more JS).
If his target position however was a SF I would not forgo the IS but thats all to the trainers preference.
