With no GM in Canada, is a GM elsewhere getting welcome messages out to newly created teams in Canada?

Some people have suggested in the past that the Cup stay random until the Final 16. So I'll add to that.
I think it should be seeded after you get to the Final 16. I also think when you get to the 16, it should be played at a neutral arena. Now I think that would be cool because by the time you get to the 16, there are no lucky teams left.

It is Neutral for final 4 or 8 anyway. Nah keep it random. When I was in Div III I was one of 3 teams that made the final 16. The other 2 played each other. If there is to be any changes to the Cup all I would like is maybe make it a cup for each division level.

Div I could play vs 3 other nations Div Is and move up through regions.
Div II in their own cup and then taking on winners of other nations div II.
and so on. The lower division the smaller the region would be.

But I'm fine with the current set up.

I think your idea is a very good one. I cannot tell you how many times I have sent out the link for both the game manual and the information post in the Help forms put together by RiP. These things should be essential reading and answer a ton of the initial questions.

The only issue is reading thru the numerous pages is also very intimidating and the reason behind many uses leaving. Somehow there needs to be a tutorial that is not so complex and grabs users interests to help them stick around.

Another idea that I have is that people could be automatically assigned a mentor. Mentor would volunteer by clicking a button similar to the election and then new users would automatically be assigned one. Having a good mentor is the only reason I stuck around as both RIP and The Mogul offered to help me out.

In Canada's case hey still come from me which is fine. I get lots of feedback and try and help as much as possible.

i have been playing this game since season 10,stoped in 15 and restarted in 24.I think the game is fine,theres no reason to fix something that is not broken.Adding a second team option would lead to cheating but other than that i find it pointless.You may disagree that the game is not broken,but i think the issue with the loss of users is the advertising,the game is fine but however good it is,is irelevant to its population.Of course many people log in just once or never,thats what i do on websites i have no idea about or something i thought would be cool at the moment,if there was a better way to welcome newcommers it would keep them here more.Its not like experienced users gave up the game because they thought it is broken.Ohh and also to whoever said that (teenagers) or anybody really wants a fast paced game is wrong,im 17 and im perfectly fine with the way the game proceeds,its not like the game is the priority of your life,having this site to log in once a day and spend a couple of minutes is enough and satisfying.

Well of course I don't know why you stopped in season 15 to only restart in S24, but admit that if you stop playing a game after 5 seasons/1 year (in Greece, not leading you far) and wait 9 seasons (two IRL years) to replay it seems to indicate you weren't finding enough interest to keep playing. Since that game is aiming for people to stay for a very long time to see the consecration with their team, your example would makes me think something has to be done to help keep players.

not at all,its the other way around,i gave up all my online gaming because it was affecting me in real life,and the fact that i came back to this game indicates that i liked it enough to remember about it.

So BB is far from broken, but changes here and there are mandatory as long as they are thought beforehand and not just made to appease a handful of people.

hence why i said having a second team serves no benefit and i believe only a couple of people want it.Me personally,i have no idea what it would offer.
