I've always entertained the notion of a deep roster with great defense, amazing stamina, and doing Full Court Press + Run N Gun or something. Just try and run the other team off the court.

Not sure if it's feasible in the BB sim, but it'd be a fun team to watch.

I must have the lowest merchandize revenue at less than 60K. sigh.

Shows you how high merch must be for some of this league. I'm also well below league average. I have more USA players than ever before and it's done crap all for merch. Well...technically I could argue my merch is worse with the additional USA players, but that could possibly be because of my atrocious start.

But even during season 21 (before I won the title), my merch was between 80ish-90ish. 80ish if my guard Wens wasn't on Belgium's NT, and 90ish if he played that week. Actually I want to say that Wens gave me about a 8k boost if he got minutes. Anyways, even when Wens wasn't playing on his countries NT my merch was at a decent level for only having 1 (and then 2 mid-way through the season) USA players.

And the kicker? (23332)

Wens is back on his countries NT this year. I added a 107k starting USA guy, and a 37k USA big for Cup depth. So not scrubs by any means, yet my merch is still way lower than beforehand. Now its between 63-70k.

In season 22 my merch was between 75-90k. I don't think Wens was on his countries NT, so to me this explained why it wasn't higher than the previous season.

Long story short, I understand I need a USA NT player to hit league average (at minimum). My lone almost had a USA NT story was trying to buy Nix when I entered the NBBA, but Reston Thumpers outbid me.

lorenz is worth ~40k in merch on the NT. probably around the same for goddard and half that on nemesio.

still losing money, as a 250k LI guard will do, but it def helps offset the hit.

Goddard's a beast, if you actually tried to go for the League, would attendance be high enough to break even?

ideally i could win road and cup games, and give up the home ones. thats the best you can do financially. in that case id be close to break even for this season. next season will jump again, especially nemesio.

just trying to keep it together until goddard/nemesio are 33 or so
