In Red, Round2's recent big center purchase was not enough to overcome Masters' combo of home court and playoff crunch time for the 2 point win.

Although I won game one, I maybe jumped the gun selling my stud who was an aging vet......all a salary dump move, and probably a dumb move on my part....sold 10 minutes after the win.....UGH.....

It was some good close games this season. Nice come from behind win Kitties. I think Round 2 still has the better team was just out coached that game. Nice win for the Red there Goat, I hope me dumping my vet want come back to haunt me either lol. Good Win and Congratzie to all the winners.

Some excellent close games for the first night of the playoffs..,....and then there was Generals-Deronimo where the hole was just dug too deep too fast to climb out of.

In many ways a "Hallmark" season, great cup run, broke the top 100, stayed in contention all season. But we are going to be hard pressed for an encore. Age and overall limitations really showed down the stretch and were on full display last night. A off-season will more questions than answers.

Ladson survived their trap game, if the GS concerns smooth themselves out this is still there's to lose. Though Deronimo is peaking at just the right time, should be a good one, but the NoCo on a Saturday night is not where opponents want to be. I think kitties are home free, would be surprised if Masters keep it close. And in the finals the Lions will roar, Not to disparage club red, or more specifically kitties, but they are still at least a season away.

Dang. As Diorite is a bad matchup for Ladson. Ladson is a really bad matchup for me. (And to complete the rock, paper, scissors I feel like I match up well with Diorite). Hopefully game shape is in my favor because I'll need it.

Also happy 4th everyone, and good game Gens. Side from the odd 1st it was really tight.

Cut about 45k in total salaries...hopefully that will help me stockpile some cash to chase a good young player. One of those vets will be replaced by Meade, who I think is ready to be labeled a starter.

Announcer : what started with sixteen has whittled down to four as tonight two more teams will move one step closer to a championship.

Deronimo finds themselves in a familiar place at the cusp of a shot at the title. The problem is they will have to go thru Ali Colon and the rest of the Lions to do so.

And at the litter box the Masters will try to extend their reach one more step against a kitties club itching to get their shot at the title.

Plus three teams tonight will be playing for their season as for those squads the margin for error is zero.
