So i would've been better playing a low tempo attacking tactic rather than fast paced to counter the FCP?

If it has a realistic game: yes. The faster you play the slopier you get, the easier it will be to make a steal. But I don't know if BB works that way... I don't think you could have forseen that he was going to play CT. He just did everything right to have a chance against you.

I won with a push the ball but I had home advantage and we both played normally. They are frustrating to play against though - 32 turnovers.

But the second last league game last season, they beat me at their place 107-105. I was TIE (because of the playoffs coming up) and they went CT. They came back from 14 points down after 3 quarters

Just make sure you beat Woodside and The White Dragons

CT vs TIE + you played the wrong defense + BAD luck (considering the matchup ratings)

It would have been better i imagine if i had played 3-2zone like i intended but obviously didn't press the right one. They're going down next time!

I think also when you have a v.high enthusiasm, i.e. 11 that playing a TIE should equate to a PIN really.

Shields is ready to lay down the law at Woodside and so are the rest! Am still annoyed, was hoping for 100% record :(

Need to pay attention to my opponents more instead of just playing a strong squad in future, which is kind of the whole point of the game. Tut!

Hi,

what about this game: (6493808)?

I know that my SG did 1 out 16 on three pointers... but in theory he was in great shape... And how come I got less rebounds?

Well... thanks for your comments.

Sincerely
Giuseppe

Fouls as well. You had 23 fouls.

Also they played 3-2 against your motion which seems to worked well. But you countered the Look Inside by playing 2-3. Maybe its because motion is low tempo :S

I would blame the refs in your position

Well, mostly I blame the SG for taking all those long distance shots in a bad day... and the PG for assisting him... ;-)

However, I don't understand what were __my__ mistakes... if there were any...

Well, I love this game... and I hate it!

Just looks like they were the better team with their unbeaten record but you r only mistake was playing motion. An inside based offence would have probably won you the game

by the way im predicting the ge,

on a outside oriented offense the sg has the nature to shoot more than pass, even with a high passing level it is more often he will shoot than pass unless you play him as pg or his your best passer on your team.

thats just me.

also your offense was well prepared by your opponent, tendency if your big man isnt an option either his offensive skill sucks or probably his defensive man has more better defensive skill than your offensive skill.

because the GE as i know tries to look for other else to step up, i play outside oriented offense but at times my center do bail me out if my guys hits nothing but rim.

if not its going to be hail mary for my pg, sg and sf :D

Ok, first of all, thanks for your remarks.

Basically, you're saying that it's better to focus on inside solutions even if you have a slightly lower edge on the perimeter, am I correct?

I had a two full level advantage on outside shooting (even considering his 3-2 zone... that on the paper should not have been so effective...), while I probably would have had only a 4 sub-level advantage on inside shooting...

Roughly, this should be like saying that inside focus is more effective that outside focus...

Sincerely
Giuseppe
