no it was quite clear to me that cup games (thats what we call it in europe, i think) exist, but somehow i did not realize it was one when i set the orders - probably my fault. perhaps it would have helped to write cup instead of c in the schedules? despite the fact that i was playing and watching basketball a long time i am not used to all the abbreviations here, and i think lot of other people will find this a little confusing too. perhaps it might be a good idea to have the full name show up when you point the mouse on an abbreviation, like numbers as tooltips in hattrick??

and one other thing: afaik it is important for training how many minutes a player has played in a week, but how and where can i find this information?

From first impressions and after getting my first game under my belt I have to really pile on the praise for you guys. BB looks and plays fantastically. There are all these little improvements (such as the color coding of skills) that make it stand above more established games like HT IMO.
Having said that couple points I wanted to bring up:
My first match, when I clicked on the game "Match Report" the game flashes by in 5 seconds, using Firefox. I couldn't figure out how to start the game from the start, I clicked on the Q1-4 and it seemed to simply highlight the shot locations on the game chart.
The Box Score is wonderfully full of stats making it extremely like a real life game.
Another feature I found extremely useful was player history information on each player and the ACTUAL rating (eg. 5.31 rounded up to 5.5). I noticed after the Cup game that it only takes league games in to consideration, as a suggestion I'd personally enjoy having an option (in the drop down maybe) of League, All Games, Cup/Friendly games.
Another thing I noticed from the games my boys have played is that the Reserves tend to get more playing time than the Backups for some reason. I would think when the Starter gets benched/rested it would go to the Backup and then the Reserve but for 2 games now my Reserves have gotten more minutes than my Backups. For my next match orders I've tweaked my lineup to test this further. After my first game I thought it was due to the Stamina of the Backup but it's 2 games now so I figure I'll bring it up to see if that's working as intended.

ok is there anyway to check what position the players played. as in the match reports.

also i was watching the game on Saturday and i was down 10 with 2 minutes to go and my players where taking shot when the shot clock was at 5 or below, it was like they weren't in a hurry, i play look inside but i would expect there to be a bigger urgency to score.

Am I the only one who is observing a lot of fouls. It seems like every game I have at least 2 or 3 players foul out when your typical real life game usually does not see a player foul out. In fact, my last game saw both teams have five players foul out. That's a crazy amount.

For now I'm just keeping track of where players played on an excel spreadsheet, but it would be nice to see mins played at which position in the "weekly player statistics" link when you're setting a lineup.

It seems that the tactics may be TOO powerful in establishing what a team does.

I played Low Post the other night, and won handily.

However, just because I concentrated on the low post wouldn't mean I wouldn't shoot a single three, would it?

That happens in pretty much any game where a team plays Low Post.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live
