I don't think we can talk about Stamina without talking about Realism. The only reason something like Stamina is introduced into a 'Game' like BB is to make it more Realistic.

Ok, now that we all agree on that - MAKE STAMINA REALISTIC or GET RID OF IT. This is a game, which by definition is something that should be enjoyable. Stamina, in it's present form, is not enjoyable. It is more of a chore, and a non-realistic chore at that.

I firmly believe that when BB was conceived, there were several things "inherited" from Hattrick, including training, enthusiasm, stamina, form, etc. The big problem is, BB inherited some of the things that SUCK about Hattrick - namely Stamina and the current Enthusiasm system.

I would like to see BB cast these aside, or at least introduce a fresh look on them instead of merely copying them into BB.

I tend to not agree with this.
Also I believe this is a rather dramatic sentence.

Wheter it stays or not doesn't realy matter for the game itself, because it is the same for all managers.
It can either add to the funlevel....or decrease it... seeing these posts I'd lean towards the latter. But that does not have to mean you have to get rid of it entirely. It might be improved. BB tried to improve it, and the effect was the opposite, it got worse. This does not mean they are uncapable of improving it.

What I find is wrong at this stage is that the rules state that it is easy for a coach to train stamina during practice, and still only those who played in games improve at stamina, while others who also receive the team training drop to attrocious.

My suggestion would be to not have stamina drop as fast at the lower levels as it is doing now, to drop from weak to atrocious is 5 weeks, one should lay in bed all day and night and eat fries every day , but here we go again with realism. ;)
if a manager decides to spend a week of (useless) stamina training for his guys, all the teams' players should improve, maybe the ones that got playing minutes improve more, but none should go down in this skill during that week.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

So, if stamina decreases thru injury and inactivity, it should increase thru activity. If players get minutes consistently they should get better stamina. In fact, there's little substitute conditioning than actual game time.

stam training...and it's the worst! season 4 can't come soon enough
