oh, when you are talking about specialist you are talking about staff? I thought a specialist was a staff member with a specialty e. g. a level 3 doctor with massage. Well okay, maybe I should fire my PR-guy.

i'm with bernspin... 40k wage for 2k vs 25k for 500k...

over one season:
2k + 40k x16 + about13k (weekly increase) = 655k
500k + 25 kx16 + about 9k (weekly increase) = 909k

over more seasons the lower salary will pay out. for sure it will. but the 15-17k you pay more per week dont hurt your economy that much like 500k at one go.

just my two cents

The fact is that for me is dangerous to spend 500k for a trainer with 25k salary or 2k for a trainer with 40 k salary in both the cases
If these are the prices for a trainee,I simply will never offer for both of them
To reduce the price of trainer,we should no offer when the prices will go to high. But I fear that will be always someone that will not understand it

But what would be interesting to know is if the supply of staff members is scaling with the number of BB users. If that has been overlooked, that would be something driving staff costs up.

The number of new staff entering the game each day is random, but the distribution is continually adjusted to keep the mean roughly proportional to the number of human teams.

the demand of Lv5 trainer is too high
because many new manager skip 2,3,4 and jump straight to lv5
because they think they can afford it

but the truth is the money have a better return on the stadium, TL

Perhaps the BBs have purposefully allowed the prices for trainers to increase. The market is out of control in general right now and people have too much money to spend. Bonus costs are a way to take money out of the market.

If you look at it another way, players fetch more value on the transfer market now, so the money made from selling trained players has gone up. In order to keep training profits constant, you have to allow the prices for trainers to increase, otherwise the profit margin for training gets proportionally too high compared to other profit margins.

I think 40K/wk is affordable if you have a strong financial position (particularly if you're in div 1 or 2).
