The last season 14 roster spot for the U21 was used this week, with Conor MacSymon joining the action. At 21 years of age, MacSymon is in for a very brief U21 career, but he should help us out a little bit here at the end of the season.
Conor MacSymon (11817284)As a manager, coach coach has been an active prospect hunter in recent seasons. With this in mind, it is perhaps a bit surprising that one of his own draft picks became his first player on the Canadian U21 team. Conor MacSymon was drafted 16th overall as an 18 year old, and has been steadily trained ever since. While coach coach himself was skeptical that MacSymon would ever play for Canada, Conor never stopped believing in his abilities, and was very excited to finally get the call. While he won't be on the U21 for long, he is determined to make the most of the opportunity, and proudly represent Team Canada.
