S15 - SGP Tournament Quarter Final Update : Lycans BB edged Hobos&Basketball 88-86, Sessioes Doers survived OT frenzy from wow wee star 101-97.
For the first time in many season, all Quarterfinal match were tight and no teams have a blowout win.
Depleted Lycans BB team, without veteran Tan Yau Chang & Michiaki Tayama, survived a heart attack when Mohd Nizam bin Kassim bricked 2 FTs, H&B rebounded the ball, but Moritz Muschketat missed long jumper and Radomir Oniszko was unable to convert the offensive rebound, and Lycans BB held 2 points win over H&B 88-86. Juan Jose Castell lead the team with 22pts 7ast 10reb, followed by newly acquired Italiano, Enzo Paolo Gilloti, with 22pts & 6rebs, including one crucial shot to regain 2pts lead when H&B tied the game at 86-86.
Two running gunning team, Crystal Chambers Cavaliers outlast Phantomech with 123-113, led by CCC NT Superstar, Yip Kum Jian with 33pts, Tian Yu Guang with 27pts 6ast & 8rebs. Lin Hongsohttp://www.buzzerbeater.com/images/conf/new/bold.gifng scored 22pts & Lorenzo Carazza has 10pts & 13ast. Eestonian Meelis Kuusk lead Phantomech with fabulous 46 points.
Defending Champion, Whampoa All-Star, defeated black horse Bobbleheads 136-126, behind nice outing by NT Star Ng Chao Huat with 25pts & 13asts. Arthur Hottinger added 24pts. Other 5 players also registered each at least 10 pts. Bobblehead's Bill Swain's 51pts still proven not enough to threat the Defending Champions.
Sessioes Doers, registers their first appearance in SGP Tournament Semifinals by eliminated wow wee star with 101-97. But Lim Wee Min and the group was working OT to gain the important win. Wee Min, an ex U21 star, led his team with . Eike Balkhausen added 22pts &12rebs. Mah Shung Kwang & Frantik Sarvans has 19 & 14 pts respectively.
