Actually I´d like to "invent" another tactic option considering transition and the team going for offensive rebounds.
Transition Options -
Offensive: Go for the Fast Break whenever possible (downside: worse D rebounding, higher TO rate, stamina use, upside: easy buckets now and then, more assists, more fouls from the defenders but also a higher Charging possibility), Fast Break after a Steal only (no influence on rebounding) , Always Set Ofense (no changes at all, no TO increase).
Defensive: Always go back (higher possibility of stopping opponents fast breaks, decreased offensive rebounding), play the passways (guards / forwards don´t got back at full speed, but try to get a solid mix between going for the rebound and defending the passing lanes), full attack of the board (increased orebounding, but might lead to plenty easy buckets from the opponent).
I think that would probably change the "dominance" of a set tactic since you might be able to get hold of an opponents weakness and exploit it. Look Inside usually means you´re more vulnerable to quick penetration as mentioned before, so the combo of LI and "go for the OReb" against a Zone of some kind with "go for the fastbreak" might lead to a highly interesting tweak in things.
