I am sorry to tell you, but you have no chance to get the player back in re-acution.

This kind of situation has happened before and never an auction has re-opened because the site was down.

As in real life, when you want to get more, you have to risk more. It is a risk to put him for a low price to attract more bidders, but it can also result in a lower than expected result, for whatever reason.

If the site is down then aint auctions meant to be extended.

Trainerman has messaged me and expressed to me his thoughts that this wouldnt be a problem if autobid was in play.

To answer Trainermans other question, if I was to be officially told that its tough luck and that nothing could be done, then I would be extremely pissed.

Just wrong that a system problem can affect a Manager so heavily

If the system is incapable of running a "fair & proper" auction then the fix isnt hard, just cancel the sale and let the ripped off owner have the player back

So how do you explain that to Snow Boyz who just scored a bargain for McInery? It would make you happy but cause another to be disgruntled.

I know its a tough pill to swallow but what Ruidri said makes perfect sense.

All current transfers should be frozen and extended for amount of time lost no matter when the actual deadline is.


That would be problematic too.

The game is in disrepute.

A manager being myself is a million dollars plus worse off because of the instability of the site.

Where is Marin?


The longer it takes for an announcement / remedy to be made, the deeper this game sinks into the depths of disrepute

I once sold half my team and experienced a server downtime - lost millions myself. No reason to reward stupidity and help out in such a case. This ain't no game for fools.

If the server goes down auctions are supposed to be extended - this did not happen

I once sold half my team and experienced a server downtime - lost millions myself. No reason to reward stupidity and help out in such a case. This ain't no game for fools.


Unlike yourserlf I have been ranked as high as 10 in the world and I do not consider myself to be a fool

This whole discussion leads to nothing. We all know that Marin will not interrupt in the transfer. So I suggest to just end this discussion.

It is not a bug, at most it is a problem which is well known and which has a simple remedy of setting the initial price at the minimum a manager wants to receive.

It's your fault you did not set the desired amount. If you are too lazy to type 7 digits it's your fault and you are a fool too. Everybody knows the servers are unstable during offseason processing.

Everybody knows the servers are unstable during offseason processing.

We're seven games into the season. Off-season processing isn't a valid excuse for server issues.
