Nobody would visit a match of a team, which looses all matches by more than 50 points. Nobody!
That's true but the criteria announced (which seems to be active for the current season already) is not based on point differential. If you are the weakest team in a league you may lose 8 straight games even though you're trying and some games are close. They tried to soften it by linking the decrease to how much money you have, but I would have preferred a PD sort of criteria rather than the simple loss streak.

The S37 news is very Angela Merkel-esque.
You throw out a couple of cosmetic changes, half-assed ideas and vague announcements to create the illusion of working hard while the summary of the news is: we did nothing to address the major problems of the game.

Draft: ok
Salary: missed chance
Promotion: dont like it

I may have missed something, but does the second promoted team get a promotion bonus as well as the first? If not, how can they hope to compete the following season? And if so, can anyone calculate how much money will be injected into the economy by the instant doubling of promotion bonuses? Even if they get half of the league winner, that's an awful lot of cash. I do hope the BBs have a plan to stop the inflation that would cause. 98 countries, I have no idea how many leagues with people in them. North of 1000. Maybe 2 billion dollars. Possibly worse than the "Utopia Effect."

I still don't really want to get into the salary "increase." I commented in the previous thread and you can read that if you like. However, one thing again disturbs me in regard to the economy. The so called salary increase has actually caused salaries to fall. Again, this means more cash in the economy. I hate to be the voice of doom, but the BBs don't seem to grasp that most people feel the economy is already broken. Two changes intended to improve the game are going to make the economy worse. Do any of the BBs even think about the consequences of the changes they make?

One of the reasons salaries are falling is because of the removal of players who are too good for free agency. Again, this stops cash flowing out of the game, and keeps it in so that people have more cash to spend. With nothing to spend it on but lesser players and trainers. Oh dear.

Yeah. Thats true. It should be included.

Actually the fan effect of a close defeat in general should be less intense than a high defeat.

Though I dont know how easy it is to implement that^^

Simple. Instead of just looking at defeats they can just make it happen if defeats are all by more than 10.

That's why the funds you have are important. If you start with a 0-8 and your current founds are 2$ your fans will understand, but if you start with a 0-8 and your current founds are 10M (for example), they won't be happy at all even if you don't lose by 20 each game, because they know you can strengthen the team.

Yes of course if you bot promote you get the promotion bonus. I think I promoted in Utopia like that once and I did receive my bonus.

Yes the economy will not improve with any of the changes announced. At the moment we have some kind of levelling towards the bottom. The draftees improvement does not affect training speed and the only way to save the economy now in my eyes would be to increase the training speed or training options (for example 2 position training at full speed for every option).

The number of trained players is too low. Either new trained players are going to be created or prices go up and average player becomes worse and worse until we reach some (very poor) equilibrium. I say give us the possibility to create those players because at the moment we can't. We can't create enough players and I believe the vast majority of users train players. It was a misconception by the BBs all along that users were not training in the past. Some users didn't train, most did even in the past. Now, very few users don't train.

Give the possibility to Homegrown teams to cap their entire team of PAS players 12-13 seasons with an advanced trainer.

10M won't get you to win the league or to compete, if you start from the scratch, but they are enough to buy 3 players to compite plus the ones you are suppossed to have.
If you want to tank, you have the money you got from the sales, the best draft picks, the possibility of training the way you want to and you will even have profit. The only thing that changes is that the profit will be lower.
Tanking will still be an option, but it can't be an option with just advantages.
