We are currently at 2-1 in the second round of the Asian Championships. We need to beat HK next week in order to have a chance to get a medal place. Losing to HK will relegate us to 2nd chance qualifiers for Worlds next year.

Hope we win next week or else our season ends early.

The Basketball Gods smiled on us tonight as we won against HK 109 to 100. Was expecting a loss since two of our starters had bad GS and didn't play but we ended up winning in the end. The ball is round they say :) :) :)

We are now 3-1 with our last game against Singapore next week. If we win our last game of the second round we are assured of at least a bronze trophy. Hope we win next week. Cheers.

Sad day as the Basketball gods didn't like us today. Lost a very winnable game against Singapore and ended up tied with HK at 3-2. HK has a higher PD so they go to the medal round and we end up with nothing instead :(

We still have a second chance qualifiers to get into the World Championships but its a hard tournament to win. Need to sweep the group you are to have the chance to qualify for the worlds. Each group has four teams from Americas Europe Asia and Africa.

Anyways my apologies for not getting another trophy. Was really expecting one after our upset win against HK but it just shows the ball is really round Singapore turned the tables against us and did the same thing.

The bracket for the 2nd chance qualifiers for the World Championship is out and it doesn't look good. We got bracketed with two teams ranked higher than us France (5) and Chile (12). Algeria is the last team we are bracketed in. Chile we might get a chance to win but France is pushing it. Hope for the best. :)

A 10 point loss last night against Chile has already taken us out of the running to get a spot on the World Championships. For the remainder of my term I will try my best to find people who will be willing to train and keep our next generation of bigmen. We sorely lack good bigmen in our NT but have a surplus of very good guards that we can't even give them spots them in the NT anymore.
