an opening package of dunks, threes, blocks, steals and other images abound as our narrator intones.

Announcer: Welcome in for another season here in the slaughterhouse. For all of our new competitors hope you find your stay enjoyable. It looks to be an engaging season as the stalwarts of the Blue Bloods are joined by a pair of quality players from the show along with a promoted player eagar to show his worth. While in club red the hoarding of finances for some have begun as there could be plenty of moves afoot. First things first though as tonight we have our opening slate of contests.

Timequake breaks their division three cherry tonight with a contest against the team that has been here the longest as Deronimo tries to put the collapse of last season beind them as Captain Ahab Errr Hokied seeks to find his white whale.

Sparty also seeks to right the ship after taking on water towards the end of season 41 though they have a stout task as the clouds of stormz will be brewing.

The bunnies seek to build on the momentum garnered by a strong finish last season against a Generals club that age and circumstance have thrust into a course of transition.

And the Pistons pull into port down in the low country for a night at the NoCo as they may find out what many opponent has learned over the last five years, the Lions tend to roar on their home floor as I am sure it will be a rollicking affair down on Darius Rucker Drive this evening.

Round 2 makes his second return to the slaughterhouse over the past several seasons as they will be hoping they can jump the sharks.

The Masters seeks to extend their rule into division 3 though they will face a blizzards club seeking to garner redemption after backsliding in the late stages a season ago.

The schedulem maker did no favors for the bulls as they get to claw their way into the proceedings with a battle from last seasons confernce champion as the kitties seek to build on last seasons surprise showing.

And tonight our cameras focus in on a rematch of last seasons most entertaining playoff encounter as the Mavs face off against the winners though the home team now scantly resembles last seasons competitor, though they do have a fat wallet to show for it as those are the types of funds which buys titles.

Also tonight we have another edition of Vox Populi as you the fan will tell us whom is going to reign king come seasons end. Of course Sybil the soothsayer is here to give her insight into this season. we will have cut in's all night at the various venues so make sure to stick and stay as season 42 is on the way as this is BB2Night

Now I have gone on record many times agreeing with the BIG 8 is certainly the conference to beat, yet since season 38 only last years champion has come out of the beast of a conference to win it all and that's went down to the last game last quarter. I would not characterize our Great 8 as a cake walk, especially this coming season.

And I am just going to speak for myself, as a pep talk to my team - (Bulletin Board Material) You have been described as cup cakes, yet you went 4 of 8 on that Monster BIG 8 side last season. They have gotten better but so have we - let's play from the 1st whistle to the last horn and win one for old Coach Law BREAK !

And that was not the start we were looking for. Sloppy and hackey, the final stats on fouls and ft were bad but in reality it was much worse. But also I did myself in with the type of lineup used, back to the drawing board.

Not the start we were looking for either, but it is what it is.......Added a new piece which helps us get younger. We are slowly moving towards the youth movement. The wiley vets still are holding on.....Meade is stuck on training and I'm unsure why! He finally popped in something after about 4 straight weeks of training....frustrating to say the least.....

Cue: a package of highlights and lowlights from opening night.

Tonight's theme: https://youtu.be/3XIu1QhHiq8

Announcer: even at this embryotic stage of the season we are already reminded, every....game....counts. even tonight the long term effects of the results could reverberate through the rest of the season.

Our cameras focus tonight on the New River Valley as Cassell Coliseum will be rocking as Deronimo and Ladson lock up in a battle for early supremacy at the top of the blues.

In a battle of fallen idols the Pistons are hoping to weather the stormz and to avoid a calamitous 0-2 start. While a stormz triumph moves them one step closer to returning to the land of milk and honey.

Down in Big D the Mavs seek to build on their momentum from opening night while Masters seek to spring a surprise and to send a message they will be a factor in the club red race.

The winners and round 2 square off in a contest badly needed for both sides.

The kitties seek to serve up the sharks for sardines in their efforts to stay up on the food chain.

The blizzards and bulls lock horns in a game both also need to stay in early sight.

Sparty seeks to rebound against a bunnies ballclub which looked surprising strong in dispatching the Generals.

And speaking of the Generals a loss at home to timequake could mean that time is running out.

As always we will have live lookins on all of tonight's action and stick and stay as Sybil the soothsayer will be here with her prognostications for tonight's slate. Plus we've got a special feature looking at how each team approaches the draft. All that and more as game 2 is coming right at you as it's BB2NIGHT

In a battle of fallen idols

I thought that said " fallen idiots". I had to re-read that 3 times lol.

And I cant access the u21 national team page, but that guy that won, he's been stuck in d4 since season 23, how did he win n get so many votes; I cant vote for a guy whose team name was "The Lebronz" for so many seasons lol

In a word, discord. NT and U21 is very much a closed shop. And because you cannot openly campaign on this site it means those guys have a huge advantage during elections. Truly a cabal or Junta.
