That's the point of the 45 minutes threshold I mentioned : you're protected from those 47-46 minutes substitutions but you still have to plan like you did for the 48 minutes.
Amen to that...

Training has to be hard.
...and that...

to have the same limit for every player.
...and that!

I'm definitely a fan of 45 minutes to get 100% training for all players. I see only benefits of this idea;
1. 47-46 minutes in a game problem will be eliminated (due to low stamina level / fouls in the end of the 4q to keep the game alive)
2. It will NOT allow 7th / 4th player to get significant part of the training
3. It will NOT change the attitude / training scenarios

I think it has to be implemented ASAP, ideally from the start of the next season.

PS. I feel much more motivated to play while seeing a good ideas coming from managers and being considered / implemented by BBs. Well done guys!

40 Mins for 18 and 19 if not U21.. and then 45 to all of the others would be great.

I agree with you, the change has to be for all players regardless of their age, that would add competitiveness in the leagues (which is the fun of the game in addition to training).

I would like to know the reasons why you change 48 minutes to 45 or 40 minutes.
Is it because some managers complain? they say it is difficult this or that?
But this game is supposed to be difficult. In fact, this game will always be difficult. Only one manager can win the league each season, so it is difficult.
Only a few managers will know the exact path to get the best possible players.

So there are many managers that, after years playing, are unable to make the lineup right.
And you will change the rules because of bad managers?
Nonsense!

It should be changed because it never made real sense to begin with that players as young as 21 and below needed as much playing time to grow as older players.

The saying You cant teach an old dog new tricks is not true but it is close. As people age, they develop athletic skills more slowly. There is a reason why the Basketball and Soccer worlds love young players so much. They can develop them easier then older players.

With that said, why should it take a full 48 minutes to develop a younger player that is far more like a sponge then older players anyway? Just like skills pop at a different rate between older and younger players on here, there should also be that difference in how much time is needed to get that full training effect.

A smart organization adjust and grows over time, not just continues things in the exact same format for sake of doing things the way they have always been done to keep things hard. BuzzerBeater is a smart organization and so hopefully they will implement a change to this effect if they have not already. It does not even necessarily make things 10 times easier anyway, just more sensible and progressive. This is a small but effective way at making a more competitive game

I think that different minutes needed depending on age is even worse.

New managers have to learn too many rules. This game has too many rules accumulated along the years.

Now they have to learn that full training = 48 minutes. You want them to learn a different number for each age?

Rules always take time to learn to be good but this is a change in the game that would benefit the newest players the most even if they do not even understand how they are benefiting from it yet. The best things in life are typically a challenge to understand and/or understand. This game having a lot to it is in that realm. I would not worry about it being to many details to this game, your a manager, not a player, there should be a lot to it honestly. If you want a simpler game, play NBA2k.

A game does not need to be complicated to be a challenge.

Chess has far fewer rules than BB. A kid can learn the rules of chess in a couple days. But hey, thousands of books have been written about that game!

The only reason for BB to have hundreds of rules is that they have accumulated through the years. BBs add a couple rules every now or then to solve this or that. But no BB thinks of taking parts of the game off when they are no longer needed.

So no, there is nothing good about BB being so unnecessarily complicated.
