Thanks. My player fouls out every game playing man to man. If like you said that playing zone defense may make it worse, I don't know what to do anymore :(

Following up, tried sit them and only had a -6 F, -8 FT, 0 foul outs performance in a double digit win. Huge success based on how this season has been going.

I don't have proper numbers to back it up, but some time ago I noticed that my players tend to foul out while playing zone defense. That's why I never play zone defense anymore unless it's a game that won't affect my player's training minutes. I think it's somewhat related to the increase in help defense when playing zone (I remember reading this a very long time ago, that said I'm not sure how accurate it was).

I don't have numbers neither but I always had the feeling that zone defenses (3-2 at least) lower the risk of a given player fouling out : it's supposed to slow the flow of the game a little bit (less possessions = less foul opportunities) and you(re not supposed to have your trainee defending on a big player all game long.

I play zone def quite often, it is optimal when the def values of the defenders are the same, if there is one weaker he is attracting the offense, making more fouls.
So if your aggressive player is the weakest in a zone he could be fouled out quicker than usual, if he is the strongest the fouls may be focused on another player. If he has the same def level of his mates I do not know, maybe less fouls maybe equal, no reasons for making more.

This is an interesting observation. Maybe this was why I noticed that my trainees were fouling out.

The community we are the ones who keep the game up.

Supporter pack is an example...

I hope that in the news of the new season they put something about it...

I have so many problems with fouls in my utopian team where I'm training two guys per game and this has been disheartening to say the least...

My main trainee MVP 18 year old https://buzzerbeater.com/player/49941746/overview.aspx

Had 5 and 6 fouls in more than 50% of the games this season.

I use Normal Attack and Individual defense with 'Let them play' instruction

How can I reduce or remove fouls in order to guarantee my trainees ALWAYS 48 minutes? Thank you for any help
