For a web/mobile game, this is very counter intuitive towards engagement and user retention. TBH after your lineup has been set there is not much incentive to login the game apart from scouring the transfer market for good deals.

If the intention is to protect new users, restrictions should be placed on the new user to prevent them purchasing players "above market rate" (who determines this?).

I see the transfer market like the stock market, I dont see how experienced investors are punished because new investers lose money because of their lack of experience and market knowledge.

Eg. I bought my 3 "trainees" at the beginning of the season. After 3 weeks I bought a better prospect on the transfer market and decide to sell one of the trainee. The price will now be higher then the original price because of the 3 weeks of training. Looking at the guideline, this seems to fall into the "illegal day-trading" criteria. Is this not allowed anymore?

Last year i tried to sell a player inside transfer limits.1000000-1500000 for a young draft with the future in front of him. New inexperienced players couldnt give that money, experienced players never dib for my player. Even me who sell this player inside limits i didnt want to bid that amount of money for his skills.
So the free market made me to sell it cheaper and ofcouse player sold :-)
I vote for free market, but not with huge distance from the transfer limits.
Last example i buy old player with 10000 only, i buy a coach with attribute not to lose stats in my players-carreer extension. So if i make expenses why mot selling that player later for 50000?

Stupid rule IMO. These aren't scams, but very smart financial decisions that give a crafty manager the advantage, utilizing the ingame free market.

"Flippers" as they're called, exist in every MMO (which this game kidna is) with a "grand exchange".
They usually are the richer players, and I see no problem with that.
Figuring out how the market works and finding a way to take advantage of that should be a valid option to gain an advantage in this game.

Not sure this is possible but, if so, (and if it makes sense) a prior warning message that the price (sale)/offer (buy) may be deemed "illegal" (or however you want to call it), within the current market values.

At the same time... how about where there's no market estimation for a player's value?

In all fairness, this is a travesty

The only way this is fair is if managers who sell players for less than the market value are similarly compensated

If there is a ceiling to transactions, there must also be a floor. Otherwise you are skewing the market

As in all things, Caveat Emptor is the final word

Good idea but we should make it different.
I look at the market very offen and see strange bids on players when similar players are younger and cheaper.
And often its the only bid on the Player.
Then i Look at both Teams. Position in the League, roster, injuries , game shape, schedule.........
And sometimes i See cheating People

So the Problem is more difficilt.
Not the buying and selling prize is important! You have to Look what is on the msrket and what Do the Teams need.
And which Day you have! On sunday a 34 year old 180k Center is maybee worth 1k. On monday He coukd be worth 180k

My player (49832350), 21 years old after 32 pops, i dont think his value is only 200000 :-)
