Like Charles said, some of it depends on which division you get placed in. The higher the division, the more money you get.

I like you and the other BB's plan as to how to approach the competitive and economic differences between divisions. I totally agree with the comment about the issue with Hattrick and right now it's my, by far, biggest complaint. Teams should battle for greater rewards at higher levels, otherwise it becomes less of a basketball sim and more of an economic one.

Of course, I still wish I'd have signed up a bit earlier..

Some things to consider (perhaps not a full list):

- Your PR guy will help you sell more seats and more merchandise. The higher the PR guy lvl, the better.
- The more games you win, the happier your fans will be. The happier they are, the more fans will show up to your games.
- Ticket prices. The higher they are, fewer fans will show up.
- Age of the team. The longer you have been around in BB, the more time you will have had to accumulate a fan base. This fourth point is special in that it is relatively short-term, and should fully equilibrate in a relatively short period.

Hope this helps!

sure, it does, thanks for your explanations :)

and considering that my PR guy wasn´t 10 (as shown for many weeks), but due to thie presentation error only 1, this seems to be okay :)

Don't tell me the guy I replaced with an 8 (who said 1) was really a 10?

just a question that might be related to this staff thing

last week I got myself a new trainer. Samuel Sadler, coach 10, salary: $23637
Now I checked the staff-page, and he´s a level 9 coach. it is possible that he dropped from 10 to 9?

I´ll get rid of him now anyway, getting Jess Robison,Trainer: 10, Weekly salary: $22665 as my new coach. But I feel a bit ripped off by Mr Sadler ;)

check out the "Staff prices" thread on the "Bugs, bugs, bugs" Forum.

btw, this is not a bug. and yes, your trainer dropped to 9. Their skill decreases with time. You have bought a low 10. Careful cause Mr. Robinson might be a low 10 too (i guess that, by the salary).

How can you tell the size of your fanclub? Season ticket holders? Cause everyone here has better than 1k, and I only have 300...
