Jason Kapono is a nobody... It would be dumb to foul him behind the arc but it still happens.

In the 2006–07 season, Kapono's points-per-game average and minutes played significantly increased, and he led the league in three-point percentage with .514, which is close to the all time single season three-point percentage record held by Steve Kerr (.524), and is the fourth best percentage in league season history. Kapono also won the 2007 All-Star Weekend three-point shoot-out competition by defeating Dirk Nowitzki and Gilbert Arenas in the final round with a score of 24 points which tied Mark Price's record for most points in a final round of the 3-point contest.

Kapono repeated the feat in 2008, having led the league in three-point percentage going into the All-Star weekend. In the final round of the contest, he scored 25 points, tying the all-time single round record set in 1986. He also ended the 2007–08 season as the top three-point shooter in the league.

I'm sorry you missed the point. I'm not argueing that he can not shoot but he takes the shots wide open because he is not the main threat in below average raptors team hence the more open shots. But on the other hand kapono is exactly the guy who will foul the other shooters behind the arc!

No he wont. Probably he will only let the ball goes uncontested. Bad OD leaves to open shots, mainly because in the jump shot the player isnt inducing phisical contact.

On the other hand, Wade seeks it when driving into a crowd - he draws the defender to stop him by body contact, and thats a foul when isnt charging.

This is the diference.

How many times in an NBA do you see a guy get fouled shooting a 3 and how many times do you see it in BB. it happens on average for me more than 1 per game. That is for both teams. I had 1 game where i fouled the same shooter 3 or 4 times from 3.

that is the basis here.

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em, Know when to walk away and know when to run. You never count your money when youre sittin at the table. Therell be time enough for countin when the dealins done.

Did you bother to check your player stats that fouled that many times in that game and who was he playing against and what tactics were used. Have you looked at the same players other games and who were guarding him and did they foul him behind the arc. Well atleast I know my players so much that I can predict (ofcourse not 100%) usually the situations where the foul might occure. Last game I had one of backup team shooter fouled 3-4 times at the 3 point line. That was done late in the game with opponent playing FCP so stamina issues kicked in + his players are not also top notch. Now the question is do these things happen for the top teams in BB? To the all around players? Without having top players with all around skills you can not say it happens too often.

Neither could you afirm the opposite, since - no offense - you are in IV.div and with very sucky players.

Theres the difference as I rarely foul on 3-point shots -> because I have good players for my league. Do you see where I am going with this?

so why my oobservation are bad, i play in one top league of BB and also bring NT experience into it ;) Thats exactly what you like to see, and my crappy players(your words) get fouled pretty often, which is also against your theory.

Speak english much??? Read my posts again I told you that my player talk was answer to T-Mac user...
You have a few decent players just saying you are playing in a league where you should relegate or you should be close to one. Just feel lucky you are on the right side of the table:)
I'm not going to explain it to you again.
I will though give you pointers what you should look for in my latest posts in this thread. Defence, tactics, player skills, fouling inside outside rate, stamina. Start with those and then send me bb mail if you still do not understand my point. No need to drag this out too long on the forums...
