in todays game i had weird substitutions - some didnt happen, and some happened just because of foul trouble even i set it to depth until 4th :(

what happened whit my case?

In the meanwhile, use Strictly Follow Depth Chart to minimize unpleasant lineup surprises.

i can say only 1 thing from my experience - things get really strange when you use tactics from drop-down menu (from earlier maches).

In my last match ( (15521468) ) my backup playmaker has not played and the reserve playmaker played for 12 min. I chose depth chart until 4th... Is this normal? Also a player whos hastn in the list of backups or reserves played for 4 min... And 2 players (1 backup and 1 reserve) hasnt played...

I dont understand. Any help?

chris... in the tactics you submitted for the game you left the backup and reserve blank, and so the tactics were considered to be incomplete.. resulting in your default tactics being used. For the record, you also didn't submit a base offense even in that incomplete lineup. If you submitted any other lineup it wasn't stored in the database.

So, if you left reserve blank the tactic is considered incomplete?????

it should be quite easy to get rid of this bug: simply when an user sends an incomplete tactic warn him instead of telling him that everything is ok... an average developer can do that in less that a day but 18 months later of this post I suffered this bug second time this season (17507310) and now Cherif and Marnix that were backups not starters have played too much minutes this week.

That's quite the gravedig, and is no longer true.

But the bug is there. May be is not lineup bug, but trainer bug: My PF and Center has played as lined up (and that's not default) the trainer has decided that Marnix and Cherif played as starters.(Was Depth Chart until fourth...)

My lineup for the scrimmage played tonight was not the one I submitted this morning.

In my latest cup game (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/17506839/boxscore.aspx) buzzerbeater changed my starting line-up. When i set my line-up, i put Joeri Moechars in my starting line-up as SG and Anselmo Usai as backup SG. However, when i viewed the game, i immediately saw that Anselmo Usai was starting SG and Joeri Moechars was backup SG, so they apparently switched positions !
And I'm 100% sure i put Moechars as starter and Usai as backup. Also when i choose "set line-up" for a coming game, i can choose same line-up as that cup game and then i also can see I put Moechars as starter. And my line-up was set completely correct, I used 12 players and set all my backups and filled in all the secondary reserves positions, so there was no possibility for confusion here.
The exact same thing also has happened several times before this season, and it's allways in a cup game and allways the same 2 players with the same switch ! It has never happened in a competition game or scrimmage and never with other players. Very weird. And to my knowledge, this problem never happened in previous seasons, it only came up this season.
Can someone please look into this, because it's very annoying ! Because of this, my younger player (Moechars) allready missed a lot of training due to many missed playing minutes !

i was undecided till last minutes about playing my new player for training purposes, put him as SG in lineup. he played 48 minutes as expected, i did not checked if anything is wrong till a few minutes ago. i saw that one of other players has played in that position and also backed up by another, no need to say they are both useless for me. now that my player did not miss the training only, but he will also get hit by the minutes he played tonight. i see some you experienced that, is there anything to be done?
