I think Gaid's players are far more well-rounded than I initially gave credit.

I disagree. I think today primary skills trumped secondaries. Dionysus has guards with IS 14 and 15, while Gaid's guards didn't spend one training at C position. Dionysus lack of inside defense and offensive flow might hurt him too. Also blank lineup can hurt you sometimes, as your coach cares about offense only. I watched the game and some easy buckets by Gaid were made from SF position when Gazdaq was occupying it. And we all know Gazdaq can't defend the SF position.

I don't know, his assist and TO numbers weren't something that one-dimensional players put up against a high level defense. Plus you would think that Gaid would have had a big edge in rebounding as a primary skill for his front line but that didn't happen.

We can't see all his player's skills but I think it was be categorically false to assume that his roster is full of players with poor secondaries.

Gaid won on the sheer power of cash. His player builds weren't as good as Dionysus. He did a relatively poor job with minutes/GS. Mamba is a thousand time better manager than DogNatural (Brian is a better manager than both of them). The reason why Gaid won was because he had the cash to stack up his roster with even more talent than the shady B3 champ.

Thank you Capt. Obvious!

And Beener, it's easy to look back into the past training for Gaid's guards. They haven't got too much C training, and this was also back when there was no cross training.

Mamba's a top notch manager, tho i appreciate it. I could name a bunch of better managers then myself in the USA alone. Going all in with a 1.5m, 1.8m+ payroll is doable and I dont blame anyone that does, id just rather focus on the players Ive built for the NT.

Gaid's manager doesn't really even know this game that well to be honest (he's admitted as such on Hattrick). But he's got crazy money and not really sure what else to do with it.

I don't know where did you find that, but I didn't say it. I just think Gaid doesn't have so much secondaries as Dionysus. He has more primeries though which is obvious when you look at salaries. It's like this year's NBA final where Miami's brute force that is represented by LeBron overpowered the clever offensive system that is San Antonio.

You might not have said those exact words but when I made the statement that Gaid's players were more well-rounded than I initially thought, you wrote 'I disagree'. Considering the topic, I inferred that you don't think his players have good secondaries.

I agree with your 2nd statement, that Dion's players have better secondaries than Gaid's but I never said they didn't. ;) Dion has a collection of the most well-rounded players in all of BB. And yes, it always gets to a point where if the primaries are high enough it's going to trump a player with better secondaries. That line will always exist.

Olavo Skywalker did not use the force, and Blue Army takes a nail-biter.
