Are you sure the global user base week starts on sunday? An even if we agree that BB world should start its weeks on Sunday, then we would have to agree that the week should end on saturday, so news have not been delayed yet (which is the main point here)

Not everyone was taught that. Looking it up online, it is clear that the start of the week is widely considered both Monday and Sunday by various parties.

Besides, Perpete said that news would be 'sent out next week' in a post he wrote yesterday.
I read that to be sometime in the coming week.

The fact they didn't post it today is not part of some epic BB conspiracy.
Probably just folks wanting to enjoy the weekend with their families.
