The last time I was relegated was a long time ago (different team) and I remember going undefeated for a while and still not filling up the stadium.Today I made exactly the same I was making in Div IV.

they can run 50,000 games of every tactic match up with every player having every skill at 15. They know whether the GE works. They also know if the salary formula doesn't once players started looking for the metagaming opportunites within wage-effiiciency and what we know about free skillz became what we know.

What we are getting told, I think, is that the salary formula is now roughly in line with how the GE actually works.

I also think this is bunkum, kind of. Because of the real situation of mammoth OD + mammoth enthusiasm rendering players like a 20JS/15JR combo guard unable to shoot more than a whopping 18% from 3pt distance over a season of non-LI offence (my own experience). Hopefully, the other counter measures go some way to addressing this.

Exactly why people are complaining about the prediction feature. Isn't it logical that given the limited resources a team has in trying to form a team they will run an offense best suited to their players skill? Why would you run an offense that you know won't be effective at all?

This is the critical part. I didn't see anything in the changes that will make outside shooting get better. The tactic should not affect the percentage, just the number of shots taken and my guards manage anything from 1/11 to 3/30 from 3pt land.

These kinds of blanket statements about what you can or cannot do in real basketball are simply not true. There are way too many variables to make all-encompassing statements. Certainly a stronger zone is helped by better big men clogging the paint, which in this game translates to SB. If you have a point guard who can penetrate into space, or wings who can split the zone, then DR can be extremely effective against a zone.
