Well its clear you love Sociology but what you told its not exactly what is happening.
You havent been enough here to see what direction took and have taken this transfer market. What people complained is that we had a market with lot of inflation and in 1 season of difference now we are on a big deflation.
This kind of changes where there is not a
medium stage is not good for the gam
e.
All people complaining its because some managers suffered this heavy changes, we went from one side to the other side and when this happens there is no space for long term planification. Why you have to do a planification for the next 2-3 seasons if you can benefit from having a transfer market uncontrolled? And same direction goes for the people who trained a player for 3 seasons and now can't sell it for a reasonable price.
- I've observated enough to say the FA use dindt work properly. If the FA are released it would hep to find a medium step where we dont go from one side to another. I dont know where's the perfect equilibrium, but for the moment we are far from it. I still see players being overvalued, the manager that have a great income will be always paying 4-5M or 10M for overvalued players, but during this process there will be lot of managers who will suffer more from deflation than inflation.
As a manager who always cared on the transfer list, i prefer inflation than deflation. The manager has more options to do in general and you can play different planifications. At the end the good manager that is selling their star will do it for 10M or for 5M since there always will be some crazy managers that have huge incomes.
When we were on inflation I dindt have problems to find the players i wanted, but when this turns to a deflation its really difficult to sell...
PD: In a country that there is a lot of competition, the most important thing is how you train. If you were able to train 3 players and sell 1-2 then you were able to advance, but now this is not possible for reasonable prices. Well at least on our country since there is lot of competition
lot of teams ended using the transfer list as an income(
like i did with +6-8M and many others). There's nothing bad to base your strategy using the market as an income, but now unfortunately this is not possible...

deflation or inflation in TM shouldn't effect overall strategy for the teams as long as you can buy a let's say 30k guard with the proceeds from the sale of a 50 k center. only problem with deflation, at least from my point of view, is selling draftees for cheaper and not matching the amount invested in scouting.

Has anyone else noticed a recent (massive) uptick in the economy? Was this just an inevitability? Or is this even a legit trend?
This is going to take some getting used to for me. I'm optimistic... ish.

I think its a case of having mre new users starting to drive the price of low-to-midrange players up a little. We will then have the inevitable increase nearing the playoffs, but it will be interesting to see what the economy looks like at the beginning of next season, that will probably indicate whether its a trend or just an anomoly (if it's actually happening, and not imagined).
