Kitties might go for the sweep. I think they are rested enough to go all out game 1, then get a win at home and take the trophy in front of their fans. It might be the case where the Blue just beat each other up too much this season. Just a thought...

Tonight's montage is a two pronged aporoach. First we will be seeing the frustrations of those surviving the relegation process. Then our theme and focus will switch to images and emotions of our title contenders.

Cue 1: https://youtu.be/FkctpNfY9WY

Tonight we not only see the first steps of the final journey to a title for the top two teams of the Slaughterhouse. We also will see a pair of elimination contests.

Stormz and sharks will be attempting to earn another crack at redemption.

While at the igloo the blizzards will attempt to become the first club red relegation series winner in many a moon. But a sparty squad which has performed valiantly for five seasons will not go to the gallows quietly.

Now to a montage of our title contenders in their glory fading at the end to a shot of the late day sun glistening off the waters of Charleston Bay.

Cue 2: https://youtu.be/LH0itrvHiRw

Welcome to the low country of the Palmetto state. Tonight is the first step for one if these two teams to take a plunge into the cold harbor of division two.

First we have our homestanding Lions who over six seasons have slowly built to this moment in time. But it has been a season of great tribulation as not only did Ladson survive the meat grinder of a conference where six of eight teams finished .500 or better but they also had to fend off close calls in both playoff games leading to this point.

The kitties on the other hand surged to the club red belt by three full games during the season and if anything they have cranked it up even further for the playoffs as the kitties come in completely confident they can come away victorious tonight to give them a chance to close matters out in game two.

We will have a complete breakdown and analysis of all of tonight's contests. Also we will look ahead to season 43 with a sneak peek at this seasons draft collective Plus at halftime join us for a very special presentation as we will crown our league MVP.

So stick and stay as it's for a title and survival we play as the fame 1 edition of the championship chase comes to you right NOW as it's time for BB2NIGHT

Man I didn't realize - Regulation game had 78 freebies - Basketball is a non-contact sport for real. Looks like there was also an early upgrade in the Deromino camp - Making a push for that #1 seed I see ya !

Obviously SC out bid what my Kitties were offering . . . and by a lot, it would appear. Will obviously have to pay double the amount for game two.

Was surprised by 3 things:

1) How low the player ratings were - did not realize that both teams could play "take it easy" in a playoff game;
2) How even many of the stats were - given that the Lions are the better team - and were my pick to win it all when they crushed my kitties in the regular season match-up; and
3) 10 free throw attempts versus 42 free throw attempts? Seriously?

Regardless of the result, still sure of 3 things:

1) Lions are the better team and remain my pick to win it all.
2) Kitties, while still young, continue their upward progression, and will be a contender for the league finals from the Red side once again next season, and
3) Blue will be a meat grinder once again next season, and Red champ will be able to take advantage sooner or later.

Spartans v. Blizzard game was pretty ridiculous, in terms of fouls/free throws as well.

Not sure how one is to overcome such "questionable" officiating in a made-up game.
