As explained above, if you want to record your minutes played you'll have to record that yourself; we like the website to be usable on Fridays. :)

That is kind of sad... I am already recording enough things to do with training, I would just like to be able to see if all of my players got enough minutes for training without having to look through each and every one of my games that week. I don't mind that they don't show during games, but is there any way that you could make minutes visible on Fridays?

we are thinking about the problem, hopefully we will come up with a solution soon, but at present we have one of 3 options

a) have minutes not be displayed correctly for players that were transferred this week
b) have no minutes show up during games
c) have the weekly stats page drag the site to a halt on game days

none of those current options are happy ones for us, but we decided to go for b for now before we figure out a workaround.

Based on what Charles said, I'm assuming that the problem lies with displaying minutes on Fridays:

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I am fine with "b" for now, the only thing i am not fine with, as i said before, is that weekly minutes are not displayed on fridays. I already knew that information, so can you help me with the info about weekly minutes on FRIDAYs?

Another Problem with weekly Stats:

I can see the Minutes played for both Games of this week (Saturday and Today) 5 Minutes before Todays Game starts.

Only the minutes and on which Position the players collected this Minutes. The other Stats (Points, Rebs for example) are only from Saturdays Game. But i know now, that my PG Andreatta will not get his 48 Minutes today, so he might be fouerd out after 46 mins and the Backup SG Asher replaced him for 1 Minute.

Now, after the start of the game, i cant see this anymore.

in weekly stats there are 2 tables, one is "Weekly Player Statistics" and other is "Weekly Minute Breakdown".
in first table there still are all info from current week after training - scoring info, passing etc...
is it really minutes that take a lot of server resources? and why? i cant imagine difference between resetting minutes or other stats that are available after training in first table...

the issue concerns selecting all the games that were played by a particular player on a particular week.

all of our indices of games is done on games and teams not on players...

this would be straightforward if people only cared about counting things on games that players played while on their team, and for most things that is true. However, for minutes people want to know how many minutes players who were transferred in the middle of the week played... and its impossible for us to know right now what those games were without looking through the whole table of every individual boxscore and find those games that were played by that particular player during the last week... that is the expensive operation that we can't afford to do without bringing the site to a halt.

You'll notice the weekly stats are only the weekly stats for those players for the games those players played for your team, not for all the games they played that week.

tnx for your very explaining answer. then i have one more question (i dont ask for explanation)...
second table is sorted by minutes, maybe there is easy way to keep that sorting for friday without using minutes?
i used to screenshot all my players and weekly stats in one image, so i can keep track on training and gameshape changes.
with new order i can save weekly stats in thursday, but then i have manually edit gameshape for every player, because i cannot take and copy screenshot with fridays gameshapes because of new list order.
tnx for your patience :)
