U r right. U can get a useful player even if u have the best record on u r league. From my experience except from my 1st season that i actually got 2 players, then the next 2 drafts i got 2 players with 4500+ salary, even at the age 19, had a nice potential. This season i got 18 y/o SF with 6-7 on the main SF skills and Allstar potential. So u r right.
