Will people get compensated for those weeks where their SFs didn't pop at all? Or we just take the hit...

anything new on this topic?

I alternated and trained JS for forwards at least twice and now have a big difference in my SF & PF (now also an SF!). They used to be within 2-3 skill ratings of one another and now they are 7 apart.

Will there be a back dating of training for these? I assume that the engine knows who did and who didnt on any given week and the players that were involved...

would be nice to think we get an unexpected but deserved bump to co-incide with the salary updates!

If there is a bug, and if they could determine what players missed training, they would still have to think about how to deal with players that were sold after missing training. It would not be ideal for users who bought a player who missed training with their old club to get bonus traning.

I expect the easiest way to deal with this would be cash compensation proportional to the amount of training lost, based on a conservative estimate of how much a gained skill level is worth. This wouldn't require being able to identify the players that missed training.

More fair, but more complicated, might be to apply missed training to players still on the team where the training was missed, and cash compensation as above for sold players.

In all likelihood, neither of these will happen.

What use is cash?? that cant buy the skills? and that sounds impossible.. if my guys should be prominent rather than proficient vs someone elses resp vs average then how do you value this?

If some of us have had training not been happening behind the scenes.. I would hope they can re-run training for those players.. managers who inherited the players who have been sold on may receive a welcome surprise the original trainers should at least receive benefit equal to those other trainers who were training something else at the time. so if the player is still on the roster then the training should be re-calculated... (every little helps!)

Cash compensation although nice would not be ideal for me.

and ofcourse the people who don't bid for those players with no "great" ability you will think is interestin into having them a chance to bid for the players after the pop-up ones??

or they are not afected?

I guess the training was done. we are "starting" the errors may be paid for someone...

maybe on the incoming speed up for trainning these trainig would maintain the actual "normal" Speed and at the end of the season reequilibrate it with the rest.

the deeper picture is that for example i have lost 2 big games recently that mayve swung my way with the few extra ratings (via extra pops)... the pops couldve also been cashed in on the TL in order to buy better non-trainees.. (at the time a Proficent Jumper vs a Strong wouldve fetched A LOT more) the game losses have also led to drops in attendence.now likely mean me playing away instead of home if i can get to my Playoff final again....

overall the 'bug' has possibly disadvantaged people in many ways..

i sympathise with the manager who stuck at this routine for 10 weeks.. that deserves to be looked into and if it is then everyone who has attempted to train in this way should have their training reviewed for the weeks they did it....

I understand the problem but it is nearly impossible to compensate it. The damage has been done already, nothing to do about it.

Players who were sold for possible lower prices bc of lower skills, matches who maybe have been lost or another point differential bc of the lower skills, owners who putt their players as a backup and lost their main player due an injury in that game because they tought that the backup was slighty worse than the starter.
(hehe dramatic view ;))

There are loads of things which influenced it, but I think the best thing is to just keep it as it is now, giving skillsbonus or cash won't help it at all I think.

well im not a computer expert (AT ALL) but it seems when a server or part of the game goes down/wrong it is backed up and can be re-run from a certain point or certain data can be retrieved.

the point is that no-one that lost out on the training will gain any unfair benefit and anyone who wasnt training this wouldnt get any disadvantage if they re-run training for the players/positions in question that are still with the club....

teams like mine may get 1-2 skill ups here and there - thats a pretty tough pill to swallow if youve had that as your primary training schedule for 10 weeks as someone said they had...

they re-ran transfers a while back and i would imagine this could also be done....

of course i am lobbying in favour of this because i have seen my SF and PG not keep pace with my main competitors training and feel for the reasons explained i have suffered and can justify asking for something as compensation.

cash is not calculatable - a review of training surely is... you must be able to see at a glance who/what % is training what. if it takes a couple of weeks (if not top priority) no problem... if I can give my players any kind of assistance ahead of playoffs, i'll take it.... (id prefer immediate to help in the cup!)

Is this bug still an issue? Or this is one of the changes in the Upcoming Game Engine Changes?

Since like you said we wont get any compensation for this. I just want to get back to my forwards jump shootings knowing that everything works before i waste more time on it.
