its still a foul. might not have been flagrant and might not have been shooting, but its still a foul.

and as i said, I personally have never seen one of these. but ive seen plenty of shooting-flagrant foul combo's as most people would agree, so if there is the existence of non-flagrant foul -injuries, then their occurance is so minimal that Im suggesting it should be changed to be more frequent, and reduce the frequency of foul-related injuries.

I think most of my injuries occur from regular shooting fouls, not flagrant fouls. Just my unscientific observation.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

as a blanket rule, having a top level doctor = less/zero injuries

But thats not what this thread is about, its about a suggestion to simply modify the way that injuries occur in-game.

sorry im being a thread-nazi, a previous thread about this got hijacked (probably by me ha!) so im just policing this one.

*beeeeeeewwwwwwwwww* <------ thats my siren.

I generally float between a level 5 and a level 3 doctor depending on how my finances are going at the time I need to replace them but I cannot see any pattern at all in the number or severity of the injuries.

I was 5 points off making the ABBL two seasons ago, improved my team a great deal but was not even close last season as two of my top three players spent several weeks out injured and one key sub was worthless for 90% of the season due to injuries. Injuries happen, they are a realistic part of basketball and they are a lot milder here than in real life or in other games like NBA live where you can have guys injured for 40 weeks.

So I have been crippled by injuries, twice in my BB career, and I say they are good they way they are providing a good random factor in a game that could be too predictable otherwise.

Yes correct, at the moment its shooting foul + flagrant foul combo. I have never seen a non-shooting non-flagrant foul occur ever.

This is the first (and only) injury of my season http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/36489490/reportmatch.aspx?realTime=990
Non-flagrant foul.
Actually my experience is totally different, I've seen more non-flagrant foul leading to an injury, rather than flagrant-foul-combo.

yer i have to admit, i think the BB gods set me up for failure here, last game i watched, a non-flagarnt foul caused an injury.
So i stand corrected!

Still, it was a foul, and the basis of the suggestion is to have non-foul related injuries. :)
