Pini... You do realize that, in real life, players in lower leagues are paid less because they have less talent? I hope you do...

Kirilenko is now playing in CSKA, does he earn the same as in Utah Jazz? No
We can go on with other players, but it is enough.

It is not. Go on with more players.

in Soccer, Eto´o earns more in Russia than in Italy, though Italy clearly is the higher league. Plenty players in Dubai, Qatar and in China earn more than in their clubs before, though those were clearly in the higher leagues.

Thesis: to convince a high-skilled player to play in a lower league, you either need MORE money or incentives. Incentives we don´t have in BB (other than home club maybe, see AKA 47). So they most likely ask for MORE money playing for lesser teams. Sports reality.

Seriously, your stories becoming foolish and sounds hallucinatory from one message to the other.

This thread is about Higher division => Higher salaries.
Should I remind you all that?

Summarizing;
Kirilenko gets much less in CSKA comparing ot his contract in Utah Jazz, why is that?
Worse division / BB-nation, worse salary.

Drafted players earn much more than the nothing they get at the colllege. Why is that?
Because on higher divisions you get much more than lower ones.

Etoo earns more in Russia than in Italy. Your point is moot. Point. Set. Match.

And by not answering my post about you supporting tanking with your suggestion, you obviously joined my opinion. So we all know now, Pini is supporting tanking.

There are two issues, and you "agree" to the first (as you never argued against it). This is a starter.

If I have a need to say that I agree to something, I will say it myself.

2) "Salaries should be affected by the league they are playing at."
I don't see here anything that defines size. Do you?
I will update this sub-suggestion and create a separate one that focuses on this area.

So, is it only the league level that would affect the salaries as per your suggestion? Or something else? Please explain the mechanism. What is the target that you wish to achieve with the suggestion? This is what I asked you in my first post.

There is no need to create a separate suggestion to discuss the actual content of this suggestion. If you have no real suggestion to begin with, you should not open a new thread but instead use the thread for minor suggestions.

This is indeed a false statement.

Kirilenko signed with CSKA when there was a lockout in NBA. His earnings in NBA would have been $0. Thats right, he wasn't even going to be paid by Utah and he was out of contract. So at that point, playing overseas at CSKA seemed like hell of a better option that making $0. In fact, many NBA players went this route such as JR Smith, Wilson Chandler, etc.

Russia and Italy are different countries (check the globe...), and not different divisions.
NBA, comparing to Europe can definitely be called different divisions, as the salaries in the NBA are much higher than in Europe.
In both Italy and Russia there are richer teams and poorer ones.

Do you really believe that this kind of lame "arguments" will hold any water when one will decide upon this suggestion?

Time to stop the Cry-Baby mode.

Krstic returned to Europe and is getting much less.

Vujacic - the same.

Players who went from Europe to the NBA earn (much) more.

Summarizing - There are here few who thinks that those who take the decisions here are not familiar with the real-BB-managing game, and hence could camouflage a suggestion with words.
