And still, NY is a all different state than Alaska or California.
The same as Korea and Japan are different states in Asia.
This is incorrect on so many levels.
And so had been East-Germany and West-Germany, and Czech and Poland (those last had been both part of USSR).

Lets not bring politics into the discussion when you live in Israel that has a never ending conflict with Palestina.
Very lame argument that had brought the only politic in this discussion. I will not get into that. [And by the way you are not familiar with that issue. Even not a bit]
The discussion had been whether it is reasonable to union few small BB-nation under a single league.
My argument proved it possible, and reasonable.
I was not supprised that you are against it, and we both know why...

This game is not intended to be "Spider-Solitaire" or that sort of single user (or two).
This game challenge is by playing against a full load of users.

But you have to look at what has happened in Japan now. Instead of having many D.II in which teams can grow you now almost have two D.1 leagues instead where new teams get thrown in and see no light in the tunnel. That will have teams getting tiered more then if they have a league with 50/50 active users/bots.
ahh???
They will become part of a single, normal sized, BB-nation, and will play there like any team that is playing in any normal-size BB-nation plays at.
They will start lower, and will grow from there.
At least, until the point that the competitiveness issue will come up (Older teams are much richer and cannot be competed against. Reminder - 3 of the biggest BB-nations: Spain, Italy and France has a not a single team that had join later than season-4 at thier DIv-1 league).

Oh you admit it doesn't work in small countries !

It doesn't work in larger countries either and I have raised the issue in the past. It's the exact same issue.
Teams are distributed in this same way in D.V or D.VI. The first leagues are filled up and clogged with teams struggling to promote while in 100 leagues of the same level and country, you will find one or two human-managed teams pitted all season long against bots ! New members don't sign up an online management game for the cheer thrill of competing with bots that don't even offer competition.

You use to say it was working well. I am happy to see you can change your opinion when you are wrong.

Very bad system, a big push back. How many new members who could have hooked on BB have given up out of boredom ?

The point is that there are leagues where 4 teams out 5 are bots (=boredom) and others at the same level and country fully human.

You bring the point of promotion again completely misunderstanding the original point raised.
The OP is about creating the conditions for a reduction of new teams turnover and trying to keep them around.

3. The reality is that 20-60 user nations simply aren't a priority for those that run the game.

it makes sense if u were the bbs what league would u spend time on helping?

España Active Teams: 4239
Nippon Active Teams: 34

best thing is to try & promote the game & get more users really with about 100 the game would work fine

maybe in the offseason so they all start with new teams @ the start when rookies are cheap to buy & they dont look at a horrible record have some sort of promotion in japan on all the local websites that cover bball
