you shoot more three for example, and utilize JS/JR a lot better?
LI utilizes IS,DR better.

Zone defense also effet rebounding, but not all on a positive way ;)
With defences it's pretty straight forward. M2M is a bit more inside based, with 3-2 being it's equivalent on the outside. Neither boosts rebs. 2-3 clumps up the middle, giving up mid range and long shots and makes it easy to pass. 1-3-1 pushes defence to the perimiter making it hard to pass and dribble while rebounding suffers.
But I do find this an interesting approach. So if the inside tactics do raise rebounding rating, what do the outside tactics raise? It can't be easier passing, it isn't the low amount of turnovers. How does pace come into play etc.

so JS is a better training since it trains for skills, and OD just 3?

And i am quite sure, that 3-2 reduces your rebounding.

Edit: but with your weird calculation, motion raises mid distance and long distance shots ;) While LI help just close range and rebounding^^

Actually I´d like to "invent" another tactic option considering transition and the team going for offensive rebounds.

Transition Options -

Offensive: Go for the Fast Break whenever possible (downside: worse D rebounding, higher TO rate, stamina use, upside: easy buckets now and then, more assists, more fouls from the defenders but also a higher Charging possibility), Fast Break after a Steal only (no influence on rebounding) , Always Set Ofense (no changes at all, no TO increase).

Defensive: Always go back (higher possibility of stopping opponents fast breaks, decreased offensive rebounding), play the passways (guards / forwards don´t got back at full speed, but try to get a solid mix between going for the rebound and defending the passing lanes), full attack of the board (increased orebounding, but might lead to plenty easy buckets from the opponent).

I think that would probably change the "dominance" of a set tactic since you might be able to get hold of an opponents weakness and exploit it. Look Inside usually means you´re more vulnerable to quick penetration as mentioned before, so the combo of LI and "go for the OReb" against a Zone of some kind with "go for the fastbreak" might lead to a highly interesting tweak in things.

i agree with the offensive rebounding boost by Look Inside and it's a good idea to increase the number of fast breaks against this..
however, we already have fast breaks in this game and they only happen after a steal or after an unsuccessful steal attempt..
a serious engine modification is necessary to include rebounding in this logic..
Agree with that.
Ball on its way

i think we will see many good improvements like "all-time stats" but don't expect an engine modification unless Charles gets back on business..
I sadly agree with that, and hope that it will happen.
Otherwise, this game will not be able to reach its potential, and the BB-community will never top that ~50K users barrier.
