Question #1 - Does it make any sense for a young team to employ a 10k per week PR person? Or will winning a few games put more butts in seats?
Well, it depends on a couple things:
- How close are you to spending all of your typical weekly income?
- Are you already selling out your arena? If so, you might better spend the money buying more seats. If not, you could stand to have a decent PR guy.
- The more your team wins, the happier the fans will be, and the more likely they are to buy seats. Everyone's fan base should increase significantly within a couple weeks of signing up, so you might want to hold off on making a decision about the PR guy for another couple games.
Hope this helps!

Is getting a good trainer a top priority or is it better to wait a couple weeks and get your economy settled? What level should I be looking for for my first trainer?

Hello everyone, newbie here! Just trying it for a bit even though it's a lot of info and a lot of how the game works is very subjective. I think I got a pretty good team cause I'm in division I and I'm fourth which might put me in playoffs!
I have a couple of questions if anybody can help:
Coaching: Which level should I am for? I can hire one right now at level 10 but is worth like 25k or so. Also for doctor and pr?
Training: Which one is more profitable for a newbie?
Games: Which skills are more important for each kind of player?
That's about it for now. I know is a lot but any help would be great!

Welcome
Coaching: You will have to decide this for yourself. New teams will have to find a balance between training, scouting (for the draft), expansion, and player purchasing. Pick your priorities and roll with it.
Training: Yet to be determined. The transfer market hasn't settled down enough yet.
Games: Inside skills are more important for centers and forwards. Outside skills are more important for guards. Also depends on what tactics you choose to play. If you're playing look inside, you're going to want players skilled in inside shooting, for example.
If you haven't already, read the rules, check out the conferences (especially Global (English)). If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

We need to spice it up around here. The Italian conference is putting us to shame.

You have to be a GM to be able to find other conferences like the italian one?

I don't believe so. If you go to the forums menu and select Search / prefs., you should get a list of all the conferences and can subscribe/unsubscribe to any of them.
