I think the first game shows a little nerf to look inside. R&G/Motion look to be a little stronger now (good)

Sample size is poor but on average I saw a bit more blocks in our league.

But you have to wait for sample size to increase more, or you could get statements like:

This season my blocks per game averages 4 while last season I averaged 1.6.

The above is a true statement for my team (you can check your own team stats) but 1 game sample size makes it very unreliable.

Oh I think research and guesswork is awesome.

I'm just not a fan of the jumping straight to conclusions like: "There are even less blocks than normal" "new GE....fail?" "Maybe there are bugs" "3-2 zone works better than 2-3 zone....which is arcade mode stupid"

You can't draw these conclusions with only 1 game and only looking generally at stuff.

So in the poker metaphor:

If I lose my first hand and the guy next to me starts yelling that everything is rigged, that the CIA is obviously infiltrating the casino to finally get to him. I tell him to relax and play a few more hands first before jumping to conclusions. While at the same time I count the amount of clubs I see as opposed to other suits to check what this change might be about ;).
