True. Don't know what the limit would be. But you're right... 70k whether it be 1,2,3,4 players more added to the roster.

It still isn't ideal as he would be losing money (rev-exp) but he just won't have the added tax (rev-exp-tax)

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

If I buy a player at 100k but his salary bumps to lets say 130k at the start of the next season but I did not train him.will the taxation read him as a 100k player or a 130k player?

IMO, until a team is on National cup, tax shold take care of it. That 50k for every stagewin are still a weekly gain.

With regards to below quote
"
Overextension Tax is not applied on the first week of every season for all teams and for the first 4 weeks for new teams.
"
Does that mean the overextension tax will be charged on 6 Jan economy update?

Thanks in advance?

Seems like a nice feature, but I don't really enjoy the fact that it was just thrown like this on the table without any previous info.

Overextension Tax Calculation
Total Revenue: $ 464 791
Total Expenses: $ -475 757
Training Exemption: $ 89 984
Overextension: $ 0
Overextension Tax Rate: 50%
Overextension Tax Total: $ 0

But it's kind of bulls**t, because normally i train a few guys and sell them for profit then get some overpaid jocks to help me promote or whatever. It seems I won't be able to do that anymore, which I think is really dumb.

one question for everyone : how is the exemption calculated when the salary formula changes from one season to another ?

and, on a more analytical note, i fear this tax will be highly deflationary on the transfer market. It is somehow a tax on salaries ,thus it lowers the value of a player, which in the end should impact transfer prices. And i guess this could be non negligeable. In my league for instance the teams that promoted in the past seasons were systematically overspending. this tax makes this strategy much more difficult, which means lots of team wont want to buy that many players anymore.

what do u think ?

actually is really great and smart. makes basketball managers less prone to waste entire seasons to profit-or-whatever managers. it will reward basketball managers that do this: 1, build a foundation of their team through draft [i. e., San Antonio or Oklahoma City team models] with 2-3 good players they trained themselves; 2, then complement this foundation with a couple of free agents and a decent bench.

this is intelligent stuff, not dumb stuff. dumb stuff is the brooklyn nets model stuff. you can still do a brooklyn impersonation, but I find quite GREAT that BB penalizes being dumb in favor of doing some intelligent planning.
