I voted yes as i like the idea of not having to set the alarm in the middle of the night just to get outbid on that perfect trainee you have been looking at for the past three days.
And i really like the part of just one active autobid.
Sounds like we made the same mistake...

I am not a supporter and I voted no.

I don't think this features is an unfair advantage. It is an advantage but not so big in my opinion.

But I understand why some people feel reticent

I'm in the same position. Not a supporter, and don't really think the autobid would make me feel disadvantaged. I play another game where that is also the position and I don't feel inconvenienced.

Besides, even as a non supporter, supporters having autobid can give us one tiny improvement. If we're in bidding wars with an autobidding supporter, at least the auction won't go on for the best part of another half an hour.

Your still bidding against other managers and not a machine. If no other managers bid on a player there are no more bids and you can get the player cheaper then what you are willing to pay as a max price.

No, at that moment, a human being, with anxiety, nerves, and blood in the veins, will be bidding against a cold machine. A bidding war it's a complexity conjunction of good management and cold blood. It's a pressure war. At that moment, bidding, a human being is under pressure. A machine isn't.

thanks for editing the title marin. i nearly voted false, too.

i dont think it would give a huge advantage. its only one player at a time, so you cant control the market or something. also it doesn't give you a direct ingame advantage. you could stay up instead. it just makes the game easier and less time intensive for you. you could say the same about the search function for the transferlist or the feature to bookmark players. (however these are small advantages compared to the autobidsuggestion)

just wanted to clear this up. i don't think it would really count as pay-to-win.

i still voted yes because if i weren't supporter i would be pissed to wake up at night and be outbid by supporters while i woke up and they sleep comfortable through the night....

That's one of the things why BB is magical.
I don't like the autobid option.
I love bid wars, or to buy an cheaper player late at night. Few people want a player, but those guys who want him more, they will wake up and bid for him, now all other can set the autobid and that's all, the magic of bid wars disappear..

This is where we hold them!

I don't think having autobid is an advantage in the game. Maybe a way to make supporter more interesting, but definitely not unfair. You can achieve the same result without it. As long as you don't have to pay to win is cool for me.
It's also a very good idea for people without much time.
Anyway, it's not a deal breaker whether is implemented or not.

I said no, but, I hate the idea of autobid.
It takes an idea of heart and soul out of BB.
I love BB.
It will be unfair to have two machines bid against each other.
Like, Common.
We play this game to play.
So, if you get up at 2 A.M. to get a player, goo for you.
Plus there are plenty of guys who look alike.
Just have to search.

I voted "yes" because I think it will be a too huge advantage if implemented for supporters only.
Furthermore I would vote against autobid in BB if I was asked about.
I am not interested in fighting against an IA process that will bid automatically for richer and slacker managers who won't make the effort to be connected when the auction ends !
