That sort of alternate reality is best kept to the written word, personally I think a ficticious backstory of the buzzerbeater world could be quite cool.

As for the infomercial, skip having a spoken narration as your no John Facenda and I think it will distract from what we want this to accomplish which is to get new users to find the game. I am thinking do a season in review for perhaps the USA, lots of quick cuts, focus on parts which show the inherent drama of a tight contest, skip the training aspects as that is a little treat for once this game gets its hook in you.

musically SKIP THAT RAP CRAPl for that matter stay away from lyrical material, again a distraction from the purpose....
