I completely disagree about SB and ID. Exact opposite opinion, and I am not budging on this.

I see excellent results with proper development of SB in new GE. OD is a must for this to work though. I think people often are looking at high SB with crummy pressure, that is bad all the way around.

With high pressure high SB is the solution for the inside attack, and much much cheaper IMO (depending on position of course.)

We shall see, as I have several SFs coming up and all of them have excellent SB and only 1 has SB under ID.

I'm all in on SB for PF/C positions, but not SF/SG/PG

I think ID is still a stronger skill than SB, so for guard/Sf position it's better to have ID, since they have similar impact to salary.

SF needs a lot of skills, and you can hardly make a top end SF without at least 130,140 skills. So I would rather improve other things, SB 8-9 should be enough.

My own sf I trained, doesn't follow my own advice, but that's because he's a low salary guy.

120 tsp at 31k salary.

Try to make some models in salary calculator, there just isn't enough skills to pump SB of a SF model. I'm fine with some 8-10.

I punted ID in favor of SB on my utopian guy and he is top 25 in SB worldwide. To me ID is a somewhat useless skill.

I don't know if you read my posts carefully. SB is cheaper than ID, but that's on PF/C positions.

For guards, and somewhat SFs, they are both free. So why build SB, when ID is also free, and is stronger?

I don't know why you think SB is actually stronger than ID. ID is twice as expensive as SB in the salary formula(now even more), so I don't know why would BBs set such a difference for equal skills. Doesn't make sense, unless BBs were trolling us all this time LOL

Sure SB is more efficient, I also love it, but I don't think it's actually a stronger skill.

SB has been working great for me, I'm leading the league with 8.8 bpg, while the second and third team have 5.6 and 4.6 bpg.

This lead to a good defense, I allow only 74.4 ppg, league lowest, and that's with games thrown because of the cup, and with only recently adding two great players paid 12.5 mil total.

Two of my starters were afore mentioned Tadic

and Andjelic

6/13

Also, my third trainee with 15/15 SB/ID played as a backup mostly, for training.

But I still don't think sB is stronger skill than ID, you'll need a lot more empirical evidence to prove that.

The imbalance in salary formula and relevance of certain skills is real. It is known.
