De Grote Spelers
An uneducated guess, don't feel like checking too many numbers, but if they create a lot of contact on the defensive end, they might as well draw some on the offense, sort of like a Paul Pierce used to.

It is now known for sure that very physical players get fouls more often. What about less physical players, do they just stay out of trouble or do they face injuries more often than others?

Is there anything positive in aggressive players?

most certainly.

a good shooter from te field with bad FT skill will get less points if your physical player fouls him a few times...

And vice versa, since from what I understood physical players will also get fouled more often.

I don't think that example should be seen as a positive, for the fouls are unintentional. He would do the same to a good FT shooter. That is just bad defence...

true.
he would do it to any player, but the question was if there was a positive whatsoever, so in case he fould a bad FT shooter, it is positive. Only in case. ;)

for some reason, i had come to understand that the more physical players were also more likely to cause injuries on opposing players (because they foul more often) -- in some circles, this could be seen as an advantage.
