its true. you started in the nbba. as long as you were never one of the 25% of suckiest teams, you got to stay in the nbba. not too hard, with teams going inactve at the top as well as bots. its almost like an attendance award.

i also had it relatively easy, but not as easy as you. at the start you had huge economy advantages (no promotion bonus, no punishment of top teams revenue) that made it easy to pound on the newcomers, etc etc).

its why i ran against you two straight elections and won't ever really be on board with you as a NT coach. it isn't a reflection of you as a person, just more of your team.

I beg to differ - take a look in the NBBA. They all have twin towers - it's just the PF's can shoot too. In fact the trend seems to be 3 centers with 2 passing guards. They just are expensive.

That describes my team pretty well.

except mine aren't like 70k each.
But compared to the other players on my team, they are the twin towers.

The point I was trying to make earlier was that I could not play a Twin Towers Offense in Div III w/o average guards - I kept getting beaten with teams w/ very good guards (and usually a SF) and average big men.

At higher levels, yes you can play that offense as you have the revenue to support those players and guards. Something that is very difficult.

You don't need $70k players to be successful. Yes, I just bought one last week (because I had a BBB match against BC Torooo), but until then, I've been rolling with a stable of $40k inside guys somewhat successfully.

so what do you think of this year's champions? I mean who will it be? I believe Bobo's will secure the title this year with the team's freaking defense.

with the last game, at least I am on my prediction of making the playoffs. I got a 7-1 winning series in the last 8 games lol. I made too many investments maybe that made me suck at first. :)

i think Bobos will take it all as well.
They have such good defense that they don't even hardly need offense.
I will make the playoffs but I shouldn't make past the first round.
my guards still aren't good enough yet, neither is my inside game.

Sob sob sob.... I am not good enough to win? Ah well - there is always next season.

It's a little weird there is only 1 game of consequence on Saturday though. Usually it's a movement day

Lol I think you are but I don't think you will beat Bobos
but the trick is, get one of his SGs into foul trouble, then he will be in trouble because he only has 2 guards. Put your best Shooter at SF and he iwll have a shooting spree cause he has no Sfs.
I put this here hoping Bobos will try and put one of his guards at SF and i'll keep my shooters at pg/sg haha =P
just somehow get them into foul trouble and you should win..

If you plan to buy/replace a couple of outside guys before the transfer deadline, you can win against Bobos I believe. It would be great to see both of your strategy when you play against each other then :)
