Nine nice stamina pops here too. Seems to be the winning number this time of year!

It's definitely the perfect time to give your guys a nice boost. Get everyone sharp in time for the playoffs. Now I just need a couple of big pops in the remainder of the season!

Okay Yoda,

Here I am posting on the II.3 forum

Its now the business end of the season where Managers can make there big moves that may result in promotion.

Be nice if you guys could all jump on the II.2 board and give us less experienced players some advise on what moves we should make.

Sid

"less experienced players"? Are you having a laugh? You were just in the ABBL mate, I think you've taught some of us a thing or two already.

It will be interesting to see who of Vics, Chelsea, El Hag and Aussie makes moves to bolster their finals favourite teams before the deadline. Perhaps it'll even be one of the outsiders that sends shockwaves at with a big purchase or two. (don't worry, I made my move the other week).

I think i've listed the top 2 from each side and the teams with all the expectation. There's probably a couple of other teams that aren't in bad spots heading into the finals stretch but have some ground to make up.

That top seed is going to be massively important, I think El Hag's in the driver's seat at the mo. Can someone from the Great 8 do the unthinkable and cause their no.1 to drop a game or two? Meanwhile Chelsea and Vics will be fighting like a couple of hungry dogs over a lamb chop! Will they wear one another out whilst jostling for that top spot? I think we're heading into a very good finals series, looking forward to it!

Great summary. I just noticed that is your 36th ball I just gave you. Wow. Considering all the great season previews and writeups you do that is amazing. If you were a Fishbowl writer you would be getting 5-10 balls a week. Maybe in the future...

I have fixed this quote.

You were just in the ABBL mate, I think you've taught some of us a thing or two already about accountancy.

Haha, yeah that is surprising but I don't do it for the balls (that just sounds wrong).

Good correction as well, I wonder if Sid is an accountant? Those type of skills would certainly help you in these types of games!

Looking at your picture I guess you think it is better to give than recieve.

Sid had the courage and the accounting knowledge to drive his team within a few hours of bankruptcy and then won the championship which is something we all dream of and I envy him for his success. Only problem was that his team was in such a financial mess that he had no chance (short of some Koopasaurus sort of luck) of staying up. Is he in a stronger or weaker position than he was at this point two seasons ago? Unclear.

Yeah especially when it's a bloody big moose dishing out the hurt! My avatar gives no indication of my personal preference, I can assure you of that! :-P

A lot of teams only pop in to the ABBL for a short visit. Some of them find their way back, others don't. He's probably learned that if he has any intention of staying there it's going to take a different approach. At least he can say he's had a look though. I too am jealous of this!

Really I should have the picture instead of you. I might be struggling to dish it out at the moment though.

I nearly became the first Manager in BB history to get his team both promoted and bankrupted in the same day.

Come on guys come over to the forum on II.2 and add abit of your insight.

(Or failing that jump on the Transfer List and bid on some players that are for sale around 11.45 to 11.50 tonight)

To answer your question, ifI hadnt of made the move Id have been stuck in a rut in div 2 for another 3 or 4 seasons.

I did gain a lot of experience and whilst I didnt save a lot of cash, I did acquire some good players
